“Most of the staff members are very kind, helpful, patient, and knowledgeable about the merchandise and fashion in general. This summer Talbots had fabulous sales on great merchandise, sometimes with 60% off. Take care if you are having to order items not in stock if they are on sale. Some are final sale - I made that mistake with one order since I couldn't try on the items and some of the size 2 pants were way to big for me. (My size in Levi's is a 6! Haha!)”
“Although I wasn't able to find what I was looking for, I did have a dress put on hold for my daughter's roommate. I will go back to pick it up once she confirms it is the dress she wants to wear to their spring Gala. Hundreds of dresses to choose from, a bit tight to see some, but it was over all a fun experience.”

“Very pleased with my first experience at JCPenney in Horseheads. Because I am disabled, the Customer Service woman was able to get the catalogue order I had delivered to the store brought up to the front. Also because I live 25 miles from the store, I wanted to try on items before leaving. Two of three items fit fine, but I wanted to return the third which didn't.
Again, a woman in Customer Service at the store's entrance helped me complete the return transaction. I was quite impressed with the service I received.
If there is any recommendation I would make it is to have one or more of the electric shopping carts like they have at most grocery store entrances for disabled. Had they had such a cart, I would have done some in-store shopping as well since they had a nice section that carried my size of clothing.”
“Been going there for years, Most times its done very nice. I get three colors foiled in. Last time I went the girl was new and did a terrible job. I am going back after a break and looking like a witch and getting it done by one of the girls that has been there a long time. Can't wait to get it looking good again..”

“I went July 19, 2024, in search of a dress just perfect to attend a baby shower the next day. I truly wish I knew the name of the employee that helped me find the perfect dress in less than 15 minutes! She was understanding of my needs, and went out of her way to find me dresses to fit my body perfectly. I am a size 16-18 (2XL) and she was able to find me a dress that complimented my body and fit like a glove! At first I was nervous about prices because I haven't walked into a shop where the employees help you find clothes without the prices being over a hundred dollars. Once I brought it to the register, the price was 15! It was on sale. I'm not a person that leaves reviews usually. However, if the manager reads this review, please find the employee that helped me! She deserves high praise! Thank you Maurices!!”
