So sad to say I use to Davian so much about Diva cleaners are because of Slyvia. Slyvia has been my mother and I seamstress for years. Even before Covid. Yesterday was the first time ever I experienced such rude behavior from her. I called her the night before just to confirm if she’s still working at the cleaners, she immediately recognized my voice which made me so happy. The following day I called twice just to confirm on my part no answer, so I still went ahead, after not seeing Slyvia for few years I was surprised her behavior wasn’t welcoming but I still was happy to see her. Mind you she had no customers so my mother and I quickly went straight into business. Idk what happened during the day but i could tell something was a bit off with her. I’m getting ready for a gala so I wanted to make sure we had a clear understanding on what I needed alterations on. I realize she was rushing but didn’t realize she was done with me, then going back and forth and didn’t even address what my mother needed . Few minutes she had few customers and we were discussing whether or not the sleeves should be done. Then Slyvia suggested I go to a boutique for my shoulders since they were the highlight of the dress, after she suggested she doesn’t do that kind of alterations . Another lady was waiting, plus my mother. I had no idea another customer had already left while I’m still in the room waiting for Slyvia to return. There was no care in her craft, just rush and go, no set confirmation between the seamstress and customer on how the design of the gown should or would turn out. Just shouting out pricing . Finally I came out the room with my dress and Slyvia suggested I go somewhere else . I was shocked kept my cool and asked why, after we discussed what needed to be fixed. To avoid causing a scene since a customer was patiently waiting with her daughter my mother and I politely asked why, Slyvia stated we didn’t know what what we wanted, we questioned her work, she reminded us she has been doing this for over 14 years, mind you another gentleman was patiently waiting as well. Slyvia didn’t hesitate to say it’s time that we part ways.
What I didn’t tell Slyvia was that back in 2019 she did alterations for me on my bday dress. The alterations were so bad, the stitchings pop off the dress that same night after spending beaucoup money on a beautiful dress. I was so annoyed but didn’t complain. She had the dress for 3 weeks.
The cleaner section (good friends of Slyvia) heard of what happened and knows us very well begged us to stay just to talk with Slyvia to sort things out. I head Slyvia yelled at her so loud. Her friend quickly came back and recommended my mother and I to Palmers Cleaners on Linden Blvd that same day. Joan the seamstress did an awesome job explaining what alterations would be done on the dress. I’m now a new happy customer at Palmer Cleaners.
Mind you, that same evening guess who called me back…. Slyvia. No thank you ma’am. From what I’m told by her friend Paula, This isn’t the first time she’s acted out this way and it would certainly be her last. I would rather pay good money for good service than pay good money for horrible service.

Worst dry cleaners that I have ever been to. Some of the clothes that I brought in were given back to me not cleaned. I gave an article back after two weeks all that was said to me:”I’m sorry I forgot to give it to him to clean”. I’m very upset at this place. That was the first and last time for me.

This cleaners may be getting ready to close down or something. I went there because a friend recommended the tailor. My first inkling to turn back should have been the unsightly appearance behind the front counter and the tip jar. The tailor is no seamstress and at best can repair a button. She is a seemingly nice person but the stitch work is unprofessional and unskilled. I found this funny but it was a demonstration of my point--she used a completely different color thread for my dress repair. It looked like a young child did the repair and it was visible even through the plastic cover. I had to take my dress somewhere else to fix their mistake and repair it properly.

Dropped off two moncler jackets which the representative stated would be ready in a week. Stopped by 3 weeks later and items were still not ready. Once I confirmed via phone call, items were received. Upon making payment, cashier charged my card twice which included two separate credit card fees simply because she was not paying attention to the actual total on receipt. The garment looked as though they were not cleaned at all. Cashier was not pleasant in her demeanor. I would not recommend nor will I ever use their services again.

I went here with 2 wool coats, after a week went to pick them up. I was handed coat exactly how i took them to begin with. When i pointed it out lady there told me to leave it she will get it cleaned. I thought it was very disrespectful and asked her to refund me so i can take it somewhere else. She refused and said to come back and speak to the manger. I said ok don’t clean them i will come back tomorrow. Next day when i went back they clean them but very roughly, lint was still there. I pointed it out again, then the worker said “oh thats because our lint cleaning machine is broken”. She said to leave it there again and come back in 2-3 days and again when i went to pick up they had fail to do their job again. Very unprofessional!

Please check your receipt, and make sure it matches how many pieces you gave them , especially with the old white lady , they stole my $200 ralph lauren shirt the first time , the second time I caught her I gave her 5 pieces and my receipt said 4 pieces , I went back to her and correct it , nice try lady , make sure you check your receiptService: Special care fabric cleaning

I brought my $1500 Moncler Jacket to Diva dry cleaners for a cleaning. I recently had took photos of the jacket to post online to sell. So I had proof of the recent condition of the down jacket.When I went to pick up the jacket after cleaning. I instantly noticed the cartoon that’s sits inside the jacket pocket was melted.Furious I returned back to the store immediately and confronted them about the issue. The lady denied that they messed up my coat even after showing her the pictures I took 2 days before. Her explanation was she cleans her sons Moncler all the time ..Life was hetic at the time so I never furthered the mattter in small claims court. As only the inside carton was damage and no visible damage to the outside of the coat.Going to another dry cleaner I was informed that in fact the dry cleaning process melted the fabric on the inside of the coat. Also in the future to next time bring jackets like that to a leather store. Lesson learned I would t go here they don’t know there stuffService: Organic dry cleaning
