It's an amazing soft spoken young man name (Thaamar) that has been there for 16 years, when I say he goes above and beyond to help people and everyone knows him and values him. If he wasn't there I wouldn't go. The manager short lady has the worst attitude.

Although closing time posted is 10PM, upon arrival to this store at approximately 9:26PM today, the doors were locked with baskets barricading the inner door. You should not post 10PM closure if you are closing over 30 mins early.

The store is well maintained in comparison to a lot of other dollar tree stores and the staff are always pleasant and helpful

There is ALWAYS a long line in here. It's 7:30pm on a Saturday and this line is extra long and there's only one cashier working... smh

This store is going down hill fast. Shelves consistently empty. I've gone to DT in West Hempstead and the shelves are fully stocked, store is neat and clean. The Elmont DT is poorly run. Bad management. Items thrown on the floor and they seem to always be low in stock. I'll be going back to DT in Hempstead although a little further away. It's worth it. The Elmont DT seems like it doesn't care anymore about their customers
