I have never in other MCU branches experienced such humiliation/discrimination like my husband and i did on November 7 in this branch. We go in and wait on line to check in. Once i got to the front desk, an employee (male) i provided him with my driver license and told him I am here to add my husband into my account. He types up what he is suppose to type up i guess and then tells me to go sit down. I waited and sat down about 30 mins I noticed people who were behind me were being attended. So I went and asked but another employee (female) stated that they went before because they did not needed to be seen from someone in the back and I do. So I sat and waited. Another 45 mins passed and went up to ask again but the same employee (male), who supposedly signed me up, I asked what is going on why we haven't gotten called; he said "who helped you?". I'm like "you did!"; then we heard that we were never added or registered to see "someone from the back". My husband and I both were so infuriated that as soon as the employees heard the word "discrimination" we were all of a sudden on the list and next. We are in 2023 for god sake! no excuses!

Came in today to find out about MCU. Representative Barbara explain everything. I opened an account. Was welcomed when I came in. Everyone was nice and polite.I'm hoping to build a good relationship with this bank.

My visit to the Mcu location was so amazing ! I met with riza she was so kind we bonded through great conversation and shared some family similarities and personal life experiences! She is truly heavenly!

I have been with MCU for 23 years since 2000 and I have never written a review about them but today enough was enough. MCU is the WORST bank on planet earth and I sincerely mean that. I was on hold for 3 hours and 23 minutes before being disconnected and then Again for over an hour. I have attached photos of the call logs as confirmation of the calls. Once I got through to a representative he was very helpful but that fact that I was on the phone for over 4 and a half hours to get someone on the phone is absolutely unacceptable by any standards. This complete and utterly nonexistent regard for customer time falls squarely at the feet of upper management. Mike K

THE WORST BANK EVER ????. NO NUMBER TO CALLAT ANY OF THE BANK BRANCHES DIRECT. YOU CALL, A CALL CENTER AND ARE PLACED ON HOLD FOR 30 TO 60 MINS ⚰️ ⏰️.NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, VERY POORLY RUN. VERY UNHAPPY.Had to file complaint with New York State and Federal banking commission. To look into deceptive and false claims/practices made by the bank.

MCU has to be at the top of the list for poorly managed banks. Their customer service staff is incompetent. No one, even so-called supervisors can ever resolve problems. Instead, you're told a specialist would call you back, of course, no one ever does. The level of incompetence explains why their former CEO and Chairman of the Board were able to steal members' funds for years.

I would give 0 stars if it was an option. I made an appointment to get a new debit card. I get there and the machine is broken.....there is only one machine??? If I made an appointment specifically for a card, why wasn't I contacted before I got there to inform me that the machine was down. I'm tired of MCU! I'm taking my $ and going to Chase & Bethpage. I've been with MCU for years but they are not keeping up with the technological advancements of the times. Because of these reasons, I am moving on for the new year.

What on gods beautiful green earth is up with the staff in this bank? There's plenty of staff but all move like turtles walking in peanut butter. They zero sense of urgency. It seems as if they're all drugged before their shifts. The best part is when you are being helped, they have terrible communication and people skills with a garbage attitude sprinkled on top of that. I feel like to see anyone for help here is like trying to get ahold of the Pope . Every single employee looks like they work at a laundry mat. How can anyone take these people seriously and professionally? How are leggings and sweatshirts and sloppy hair appropriate for a bank employee? This isn't a yoga class.

It’s 12:50pm and the line is out the door, the workers are moving like sloths. They’re 10 ppl waiting to see personal banking tellers. This is so sad and disgraceful. I think it’s time to switch my bank.

Some of the folks at this branch are not helpful and overall they are disorganized. The guys at reception told me I needed an appointment to see a loan officer to get my check that I needed to pick up my car when a loan officer isn’t even needed for the process. Went to the Springfield branch and got what I needed. A young lady named Leyla Lide who is from the St Albans branch was amazing and went above and beyond to get me what I needed!
