“We had a beautiful baby shower here in May 2024. Everything came out perfect. My guests had a wonderful time, they loved both the indoor and tented areas. I was able to play photos on the TV's and we had music throughout the space. Dana and her team assisted the entire time, and helped make the event run smoothly from start to finish. “Private brunch for a baby shower, the crew was fantastic, the fixing were on point and service impeccable. Lots of refills, tables cleared promptly and any needs met instantly. There was lots of street parking (meters and alt side) and all went as planned.”

Had to keep going out the room to call them if we wanted to order drinks or food; so service could be a little more attentive. But they were accommodating and very patient when it came to splitting the bill unexpectedly. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and had good sound.”

“My husband and I had our wedding here on 2/16/24. It was the best day that we could have had. The staff is incredibly helpful, considerate, and truly made us feel cared for. The owner, John, and his staff (specifically James and Lisa) made this day so amazing for us. They were so good that I planned a wedding without a planner or a day-of coordinator and I was not worried in the slightest! The value you get at Stewart Manor is unbeatable and we will definitely be having more events there in the future!”

“This was my first time visiting the aviation museum, and it was an incredibly informative experience.
There were numerous displays and exhibits showcasing aviation history dating back to the 1800s, including iconic airlines like Pan Am and TWA.
One of the highlights was the exhibit on the very first aircraft was truly fascinating. I would definitely recommend visiting if you're interested in learning more about aviation and its history.”

“REALLY gorgeous setting for a mid-Fall wedding. (I was in the bridal party, not the bride, FYI, so I can't speak to planning). Food was DELICIOUS, staff was AMAZING and helpful and friendly, everything was clean and bright and well-cared-for. Grounds were beautiful. The bride and groom were taken care of and we all had a wonderful time. The Ceremony itself was perfect and highest compliments to all involved.

My only notes: cocktail hour happened as the sun went down, and in mid-Fall it got cold quickly, even with outdoor heaters; if you're in the wedding party, bring an outer layer. We ended up going up to the Bridal suite to warm up.

If you are having pictures taken, don't wear shoes that have pointy heels, as they will most likely sink into the soft ground/lawn, which is on a bit of an incline (heads up if you have any mobility issues). Not a big deal, just a heads-up.

We brought our dresses to get changed into onsite, but the bridal suite (while beautiful and well-fitted with seats, photo opportunities [beautiful lighting]), and places to put things you might bring with you) isn't actually the best place to get changed; the large windows offer guests below a glimpse up, and the glass window separating the Groom's Suite from the Bridal Suite is covered by a curtain of sorts on the Groom's side that can be pulled back by anyone in that room for a peek into ours. Two of the bridal party are not adults and we didn't feel comfortable getting changed in there. We opted to get changed in the ladies' room across from the Bridal Suite, which is roomy, but there aren't enough hooks to hang dresses so we had to juggle things; there isn't a lock on the main door so at one point I had my husband stand guard outside; and several times when we went in to get changed, touch things up, or just use the bathroom (which can be an issue in a bridesmaid's dress as you might imagine), staff was sitting in the toilet stalls, talking on the phone and (in one instance) Facetiming. We had to wait to get dressed or use the toilets (as there was no lock on the main bathroom door, we had to get changed in the stalls for privacy) while staff finished their conversations in the toilet stalls. At one point there were three of us (bridesmaid + junior bridesmaids) crammed in the larger stall as I helped one use the toilet while trying to keep her dress out of it, and helped the other struggle into an outfit change, while the staff member in the toilet stall next to us made a Facetime call. At another time, we waited for a free stall for so long that other members of the wedding party called us, wondering if we were okay/needed help. I get it, I used to valet park at a very exclusive country club and there were times when you needed to use the bathroom, make a call, or even just take a breather, but we were strictly forbidden from using bathrooms or suites meant for Party members. Not a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind if you plan to get changed onsite.

Overall though, a really beautiful venue with awesome staff that added up to a wonderful day. Thank you!”

“I've been here many times for my work holiday party and it's always great! Very clean and beautiful space. They have valet parking and coat check. They decorate it nicely for Christmas. We've had some parties where they serve us seated and other times buffet. The buffet style is my fave as there is way more food offered and an extra bar near the food. The restrooms are beautiful and clean and the women that work there are always friendly. Def enjoy this place!”

“Heavy doors and low curb without a cut make navigation with a wheelchair difficult. There is an elevator.
We were there for a catered affair and I don't know if the caterer is independent.
They moved the crowds well, the facility is clean and nicely decorated.
There is a large parking lot.

“My FAVORITE live venue. The sound and view is great all around. I've seen Chemical Brothers, Duran Duran, CAKE, Robert Plant, Culture Club, B-52s, Cat Powers, Future Island, Morrissey (and he did not cancel, which is rare), and more. Really wanted to see Pulp live last year, but it was bad timing on my part. So many good memories here. It's pretty historic too. The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix played here.

Anyway, don't listen to the cranky neighbors, it's not *that* loud. I've been to other venues that you can't even hear yourself think. Forest Hills stadium has been consistently respectful of the local residents. They really do try. I wished I lived in the area, I could just walk to the venue! Otherwise I'd leave the windows open just to hear the concert.

Anway, the food court is amazing. Very ADA accessible. To me, it's the perfect place to see a concert. The only downside is the curfew, but it is what it is.”

To be with loved ones in such an awe-inspiring setting was magical; the ocean, the most beautiful white sand, the gorgeous sunset-all enjoyed from their beautiful deck..:then the indoor and outdoor bar....and lovely ballroom. the atmosphere is casual yet elegant festive yet calm. There were really three parts to the experience and all three were perfect. First there is the period of selecting and working with the team: they couldn't have been more cooperative and helpful and responsive and flexible. Second is the event itself: ran absolutely smoothly and everything they said they would handle, they handled with great care. Third after the event; we left some items behind and they were in touch with us the very next morning. The Ocean Club works with one caterer and man what a skilled and delightful group of professionals who not only prepared delicious food but we're so invested in the success of our event that their presence enhanced the evening for all. Together this made for a perfect event!”

“I am a native Nyer who moved and back visiting from NC. Stayed here as the reviews were better than others around. While this was a tad pricer I decided why not. We arrived around 8pm. At first look the property looks really good. There were valets who we asked where to park and they showed us the other side of the building. On entry in the lobby, it's clean, uncluttered and well lit. No musty odors. We got to our room and we were impressed. I had no expectations but was nicely surprised. I am always on the look out for a room not well cleaned. Hair on the pillow or bathroom floor...NOPE. there was none of that. We ordered room service and the bread basket with the olive oil was really good. The fries..were crispy and done well. The room was modern enough, clean. Not a dust in sight. Even in the morning. Bravo.We actually decided we would stay here again.No complaints.Rooms: The rooms are spacious. Had the king room.Food & drinks: Food was good. A bit pricey but worth it.”
