“I’ve been coming to this Post Office Monday through Friday for the past 10 years, and the improvement over the last few months has been incredible. Since the new Postmaster, Ms. Masia, stepped in, everything runs so much more efficiently.
Ms. Soniya at the counter is fantastic—always friendly, helpful, and welcoming with a smile. It really makes a difference when you’re there regularly.
Another huge bonus is the newly designated parking specifically for the post office, which makes visits even more convenient.
It’s clear there’s been a positive change here, and it’s very much appreciated!”
“Had such an amazing experience with this post office thanks to Telisha! The post office is not even the local office for my address but she still was super helpful to me. My local post office was closed on Saturday and she helped me in a stressful situation. She took down my information in case the package did come back to her location. This morning, Telisha gave me a call to let me know South Hackensack had loaded it on the truck and it would be delivered today. She went above and beyond to help me and I’m very grateful for her amazing customer service!”

“We recently needed to renew my passport and get a new passport for my 2 year old daughter. We made an appointment and came in with the forms printed from online. Winifee was so great and helpful with us. Winifee took the care with us and was so patient , it truly felt like my own mom was helping me. Had we not gone and done this process in person there were a lot of items we filled out wrong on the forms and were grateful for the assistance. In addition to helping us get our paperwork completed correctly, Winifee then also took our passport photos. The whole process was wonderful and we have already received our new passports almost 2 weeks later. I truly don’t know what we would have done without Winifee.”

“I live near the post office and visit frequently to drop of packages for an online business. The staff are always kind and patient even though the line can get understandably long as there are thousands in the area with limited choices for package delivery.”
“I have dealt with many Postal Service locations and employees in my near five decades on this planet, but this location is the best. The counter staff are so good, kind and helpful. Our delivery driver goes out of his way to provide exceptional service we nearly take it for granted. This is a model location of professionalism. Cannot say enough great things. Thank you.”

“Latest closing hours in Westchester -7pm weekdays and 4pm Saturday. Many post offices aren't even open on Saturday in the city! The employees are very nice, caring and consistent faces over the last few years. I really appreciate them and the calm, positive vibe.”
“Such a great experience coming to this post office. Although it is not my home office, this one has the best flow and I use it regularly. There is great customer service with genuine care. David, the main clerk is amazing. He works fast, but yet very efficient. He goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are satisfied. “Easily the best post office I’ve ever used. They have a parking lot (!!) and I’ve gotten to know both postmasters and most of the clerks over the past decade. The staff is professional and efficient and even though at busy times it backs up easily (credit a lot of privileged suburbanites who use the USPS all of once a year and equally unprepared college kids from the two local schools), I have always trusted this post office and the excellent service and support they’ve long given me and my business.”
“All I've had were positive experiences at this Scarsdale post office. I don't agree at all with the other reviewers regarding the man with the mustache. He's always polite and friendly. Regarding passports, there are rules and you need to follow them. If you don't make an appointment, they can't service you. What's so difficult to understand?
Every worker in here are very nice and have taken care of me through many years.”
“My first time going was to get a new passport. The Caribbean lady and the black man with the light colored eyes were really helpful and patient with me. The man even asked if I wanted to redo my picture and he was so excited and ready to do so. But I was tired and I was feeling okay with what we took. I could’ve slayed some more but that’s okay. The second time I came back a couple of weeks after because I was missing apart of the documents. Okay so I seen the Caribbean lady a second time and white man was there as well. They both were very friendly coworkers with each other. They both gave friendly service. The Caribbean lady was extremely patient with me and allowed me to redo my application. I haven’t updated my glasses prescription in a while so I made slight mistakes because of that. America and their healthcare system.
Hey if it’s your first time getting your passport make sure to do your picture with them.
They will mail your original birth certificate back to you with your passport.
For the regular delivery of the passport it’s about 165$ and to rush it will be another 60$.

“Always courteous, always fully staffed and that staff is helpful, knowledgeable and thorough when explaining the mailing service options.
We ship a broad variety of packages and they get the job done well every time.
I always wonder how come deliveries are quicker when shipped from this USPS or the one in Rye, than when shipped from other area sites? The difference is noticeable and why we travel a bit out of our way for our mailing needs.”
