“We had a screw in a tire. Someone came to our hotel to put air in it and then we followed him to his shop and he took out the screw and put a plug in it. He did this as soon as I called him and it only took about 15 minutes total!!! I highly recommend!!!!!”
“I had my 2018 Subaru Forester for a clutch replacement in last week. While it was not cheap, it was still 20% less than the dealership. The clutch is smooth like butter and I am ready for another 150,000 miles on the poor beast.

He could have easily upsold me (like Mavis tried to) but he just came back 5 minutes later and told me I’m all set, inspection is done and my breaks are fine.
Stand up, honest guy, will be coming back.”

“My experience with Kevin at Closter Transmission could not have been better than it was! My first experience was two years ago either a 2013 Honda Pilot that was diagnosed and fixed quickly, and for a very reasonable price, and at the same time my brakes were done. Because Kevin was so honest and reasonable with that repair, when I decided to buy a used 2003 Volkswagen Beetle, as a fun retirement car, it’s a convertible, ( something I couldn’t not afford in the 70’s) and it immediately showed that the transmission was not in the best shape, I immediately bought it to Kevin, I did fear my fun car could turn into a nightmare, however Kevin had the car for two weeks and didn’t give up until he figured out how to fix the existing transmission and again at a very reasonable price! I would recommend Closter Transmission to everyone needing a transmission diagnosis! My both experiences could not have been better! Honest, intelligent and professional! Thank you again!”
