Trusted this branch and Bernadette Kuratnick to file taxes for my small business. Got hit with an unexpected late fee and have since been ghosted (now over over month) as I navigate filing for fee forgiveness with the IRS. Countless emails and phone calls without a response. 0/10

My last three phone calls are below.
I will continue to add step by step. Allen is completely unhelpful. Tried to convince me that even though I had paid my tax bill for 2022, I had never filed my taxes. When I asked Allen why I would pay $4000 to the I.Rs without filing my taxes. . . He said people pay in advance. So why would I pay $4000 in advance and not file my taxes? So that I would incur another eighteen hundred dollars worth of fees?? Allen did not like that question and decided to hang up.
Bill got back to us and let us know that we have to take it up with the I.R.S pay the additional money And he can be absolutely no help even though his employees made the error. Great job bill
Anybody else you'd like to steal from this year after your employees make mistakes. I got property seized letters. . I have never been behind on a bill in my life. And then when you're employees screw up , you have the audacity to take my husband out of his job for an entire day to try to fix the problem. What did you do all day yesterday?While my husband took off work to try to fix your employees mistakes. . I'm after your job now bill. ... 12 Months and you can make it back to us. We filed 4 complaint tickets.Talk to 6 employees and nobody had your correct phone number. . All of the people that work for you were giving us some other random number as though you shouldn't need to be found when someone screws up. . A year and a 1/2 ago I paid $4000 that I owed the I.R.S for my taxes. I started getting notices that they were not paid .So I started reaching out to h and r block, They agreed I did pay it. I sent payment information to both h and R block offices that I had dealt with.. . They kept telling us everything was fine to ignore the letters and every single representative of h and r block gave us a different answer as to why this
was happening. This year when I filed my taxes, my $2000 refund was kept by the I.R.S because they said I owed it In regards to the initial $4000 they were still accusing us of not paying. . . I reached out to h and R block again.They gave me eight different phone numbers to call all of which people wont call me back. . 1 person kept calling my husband and hanging up so that the call would record it on their end as an attempt but yet they wouldn't have to handle it. . Two days ago I got a letter that they were seizing my property. I have six clay numbers with h and r block where they have never returned my call. . My husband and I have been calling and emailing non-stop for 2 business days.And no one will get on the phone with us. I'm specifically calling out bill brown. I tried to reach him last September for an entire week.Before his subjects in Troy, Pennsylvania told us everything was fine.Try it again in January for 2 weeks.His subjects in troy told us everything was fine and ignore the letters. And now here we are again with my property being seized. How do you feel about that bill brown? How do you feel about paying four thousand dollars in taxes , Being accused of not paying it and having to pay ot a 2nd time. I keep being told.Don't worry I have peace of mind. Well that piece of mind hasn't helped me make any of these phone calls over the last year, That piece of mind had my refund confiscated this year, And that piece of mind does not returning my phone calls. I wonder how.
Bill brown will feel if somebody just randomly starts taking thousands of dollars from him after he's already paid it. Or his employees? How would they feel about being charged twice?And then getting threatening letters about confiscating there property.

I went to H&R block a few years back as a walkin. Now Im a regular Theodore Fedorchak was very professional, knowledgeable, team oriented and was a pleasure to work with!! He worked with me and was very understanding and could explain everything very well. The whole staff was very friendly, helpful, and team oriented. The professionalism and the team work was felt in the office. Everything went smoothly and was a great experience. Hats off to the whole staff. I am my parents POA and live quite a distance away. My 86 yo dad called me this year asking me for help in handling his taxes. He had been a customer with HR block Endicott, NY office but was just overwhelmed this year with the paperwork. I called the office and was connected with Ted Fedorchak, the Tax Pro who helped him last year. Having walked this road, Ted was immediately empathetic and knew that dad needed the least stressful path through the filing process. He offered me a tech solution, telling me I never had to come to the office. I was able to upload all documents remotely, pay, sign, and download a copy of the return. Ted did not just send me directions. He stayed on the phone during the set up process to make sure it all worked, waiting until he received filing verification. I can't think of it going any better! The resulting peace of mind for both my parents and me is beyond words.
