“I love the staff and vets here! They always give excellent care to my pets and they genuinely like what they’re doing and it shows. They are near the top of the price range for this area. A suggestion is they need to take a new approach to absorbing odors in the exam rooms. The room we were in smelled really bad…the worst I’ve ever experienced here.”

“Here is the deal with BAC: it is a walk-in clinic, and that means it is first-come, first-serve. So, you can usually get your pet seen ASAP (and don't have to schedule weeks ahead), but you may have to wait. Sometimes my wait has been 20 minutes, sometimes it's been more like 90 minutes. Usually, I feel like the flexibility and ability to be seen same-day is worth a bit of waiting (if you don't like waiting in your car, go to a different vet). Setting aside the walk-in piece of it, I have had great service here and have no complaints.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Dr. B. and her staff. I first started going to DMAH with my previous senior rescue and they took good care of him. Dr. B was so compassionate and patient with him because he was terrified of the vet and of being picked up and appeared aggressive due to fear. They also have provided excellent care to our last diabetic and blind rescue, too. Both have since passed and we take our current rescue dog there still for regular check-ups. Dr. B and her staff truly care about you and your animal and try to make such a difficult and unpleasant experience, like putting them to rest, as easy and comforting as can possibly be. DMAH also provides hospital services like x-rays, bloodwork, surgeries. I absolutely love Dr. B, Dr. Z, and all the assistants, vet techs, and office staff, and can't put into any more words how great they are. Best animal hospital in the area!! They are truly there for the care and not just for $ like some vet offices are.”

“My pup and I are so happy we found this place! Making an appointment for a new patient exam was easy and we were able to have my dog seen in a reasonable amount of time. The interior of the building is very pretty. They have a comfortable waiting area with animal themed tv content playing. The receptionist was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Dr. Durham was gentle and knowledgeable. Her and her tech spent a lot of time with us during the exam. They were thorough and treated my dog with care. The tech was kind enough to educate my husband and I on how to clip our dog's nails ourselves rather than us paying for it. We had routine bloodwork done on a Friday night and I had an email with the results first thing Monday morning. We found the prices to be very reasonable. We feel like our sweet dog is in good hands here. Highly recommend!”
“Vetco is a great service for pet owners where getting your pets vaccinated is quick and easy. The techs are friendly and helpful. The vet was nice and gentle with our cat, Amber. The only problem we had was that our line moved slowly but I feel that it's a price you have to pay for affordability. Otherwise, it was a great experience.”
“Dr. Callan saw my two old rats this week and I couldn’t be happier with the care they received. She is very knowledgeable about exotics, and gave them both a thorough exam to make sure everything was in working order (and was also extremely patient in light of them being terrified of new people.) One of my boys needed a tooth trim due to being on a soft diet, she handled him very gently and did a great job cutting them back to relieve any discomfort he was feeling. She was very accommodating and allowed him to go back for the procedure with his brother's blanket for comfort. For my other boy’s issue, she answered any questions I had and explained all potential treatment options with me to help me make an informed choice. Also was met with the very nice young lady at the front desk, who was helpful with updating my billing info. Dr. Callan is an amazing addition to Chenango Animal Hospital, and I’m so happy we were seen by her. If you're looking for a gentle and kind vet that treats your animals with the utmost respect, she's definitely the one!”
