I absolutely dislike the voicemail service vs speaking with a human. The website and app barely ever work. It makes getting a refill near impossible and extremely unpleasant. I called to get my prescription, had to leave a message because it wasn't on the prerecorded refill options. I had to leave a message, I missed the return call. I tried going on the website over a dozen times prior to calling I also tried the app. Every time there was an error with the pharmacy section of the CVS website/app. I finally was able to access my information on the website/app to refill the prescription after trying for 5 days. after not hearing for 24 hours I called to check the status of my prescription because it was still showing \"in process\" on the app. The recorded message said it would be available by 4 PM yesterday. I needed to this up by end of day yesterday. I arrived at the CVS around 6PM and it was not ready at all. When I told the person at the desk this, they had an attitude mentioning they were short staffed and overwhelmed with Vaccine requests. My prescription was 5 pills. The fact that this pharmacy \"didnt have time\" to pull 5 pills in less than 24 hours boggles my mind. I waited 20 minutes for my prescription to get filled. I cannot convey my disappointment, annoyance, and frustration with CVS. Their customer service is complete garbage. I urge CVS bring back actual phone calls and customer service. I am not sure how elderly people are even able to get their prescriptions with this current system.
