I went to the East Rochester location. I got there twenty min before 5:00pm. Packed my car up before work and rushed over after work. Closes at 5:00pm according to the website. Staff was angry and annoyed with my trunk load... clearly shown these emotions. They're getting ready to close. Goodwill update your websites that you don't take anymore donations quarter of! I'll never go to this drop off location again.

They only take things the size of "knick knacks" (their words, not mine) so I ended up just going to a store instead.

The one older guy with the glasses was being super rude to me it was not 25 lb and he refused to take my item and he kept on saying can we put it back in your car so be careful what you bring there because they deny a lot of stuff

Very poor customer service. On multiple occasions while dropping things off during a move the employees were rude, negative and made complaints about me utilizing the service. Was told by an employee they were not “equip” for the items I dropped off which didn’t even fill the backseat of my car and did not include items that were on the “do not drop off list”. Would recommend driving the extra miles to go to the actual goodwill stores to drop off donations.

It’s really frustrating when you are donating items for free, and the staff feels they have a right to be unkind and rude. I pulled up to the door with the arrow in the drive through lane (went all the way around) and very rudely I was told to go to the front door. I sad the drive through arrows come to this door for drop off, and he said “it doesn’t matter, listen to me I work here.” He rolled his eyes at me, and continued to extremely rude grunting things under his breath. I’ve been here numerous times and always go to the side drop off door with no issues. For some people, it’s hard enough to donate items. Maybe they are items of a loved one that has passed, or it has some sentimental value. Workers need to be kinder and respectful to people donating.

The african American guy with glasses working there is COMPLETELY RUDE. My fiancé and I pulled up to ask where to bring the items we were donating. There was another guy there and he got all of his questions answered by this “wonderful” employee. I waited until they were done talking and I started asking him my question and he slammed the door in my face with a smile!!!!! Don’t EVER go to this location as long as this “man” is working there. Literally ZERO stars if I could.

This is not my usual donation location, but it was closer to my mother's condo so I thought I would give it a try ... aargh. I was told I had too much stuff and I needed to go to a different location. Really! I won't take any more stuff there!

As a couple reviews stated the two employees working there are rude. I pulled up the car and opened my hatch. One of them was busy loading some boxes and saw me in the doorway. I began to unload my car and put the boxes down in front of the door. The second employee appeared. As he approached I said hello clearly. He gave no reply but chided me for not handing him the boxes as opposed to setting them down by the door . I replied I couldn’t hand him the boxes because he wasn’t there at that point. He gave no reply and no thank you. Obviously he had a huge attitude going before I even pulled up. Not someone who should be dealing with the public. Feel like I should have chucked it all it the dumpster.

This location in Fairport, NY is a drop off location only. Disappointed as I thought it was an actual store. Was still able to drop off clothes quickly in their drive thru though.
