I dropped my car off at 9 AM for oil change and inspection on Saturday. I Never heard back that my car was ready (this is the 2nd time this has happened). I Called the next morning and they said it was ready and apologized for not calling. When I arrived, I went to get in my car and realized there was not a new inspection sticker. Went back in to ask and the person told me that it wasn’t done and no one could do it because it was Sunday. I scheduled it for that Saturday because it was the only time I had available to get it done and it was not done. I was extremely disappointed.Click

The manager and Asst. manager Craig and Chris have been so helpful to me today. They patiently explained the issue I was having with my tires and did the necessary repair so I could get back on the road. I appreciate the kindness they showed to me and I will return here in the future for service!

The manager was very kind and knowledgeable helping me understand the work needed and was very straightforward with the pricing. As a woman, I have never felt more respected when dealing with an auto shop! Every other place I called quoted me an insanely higher price and said they were booking a month out! I would recommend Chris and his mechanics to anyone!

I had dropped my car off morning at 9am and did not hear anything and when there at 440pm and they were just pulling in my car. Alexander on the front end is either on drugs or has some serious mental health issues that are not being addressed. He wasn't even answering the phones and hid in the bathroom from 20 minutes. He also could not look customers in the eye and faced the wall when he talked to people. The manager needed to be called he came out and I was given a free oil change and tire rotation. The mechanic told the manager at the time (Chris), that he mentioned the sway bars were knocking and needed to be replaced. I had an extended warranty when I bought the car that would cover it. I called that Tuesday and talked to Chris and gave him the information for the warranty and said they would need to have the car in to confirm the work for the with warranty company and told me to drop it off Friday. Friday morning I dropped off an there was nothing in the system and Chris was out sick. I had to called multiple times and then they had to have it through Saturday after dealing with the District Manager (Tim), he said they would do it but couldn't until next week. So fast forward to Saturday, I drop it off, there is a new manager (Craig) and he had no idea why my car was there and had to call Tim(The district manager). Then around 11 I call because Tim had said it would only be a few hours to do it and it hadn't even been started. Craig still needed to talk to Tim. I call back at 330. Then according Craig via the mechanic, it isn't the the sway bars but something else and they do not need to replaced. Then I called Tim and he called Craig. They were supposed to work it out. Craig called back and apparently the sway bars went on a different car by mistake? He was going to cover the cost of them himself because of the mix up but they will need to hold it for another day. Sunday then supposedly my struts needed be replaced. This is also something that could be covered by my extended warranty. I ended up picking up my car around 330. They did replace the sway bars and this is no more knocking. Craig said he would look into the extended warranty and call me back but could not draw up an estimate because the struts had to come from a dealer and he had to call them Monday. That was Sunday and today is a Friday and I have heard nothing. I am surprised this place is still in business. When I picked up my car Sunday there was a gentleman who dropped off his car on Friday and they did not even look at it at all by Sunday evening.

I was going to try out this Monro as it’s right down the road from my place of work, and the one I normally go to is 30 minutes away in Henrietta, but they’re amazing. For this one, I first made an appointment online for an inspection on a Saturday, I show up that day and the guy, albeit not his fault, says that the appointments online are not accurate and their inspection person was not in that day. He then proceeded to tell me I should call instead, of which I tried to, but the number was not working. He said he knew and was trying to fix it. That was annoying because there was no point in telling me to call then. So we reschedule for two weeks out. A couple days later I was thinking I should try to get an oil change while I’m there for my inspection. So I tried calling today on my lunch break. The phone rang. The automated voice talked. Told me thanks for being patient. For five minutes. Then it asked me to leave a voicemail. I thought, fine, I’m five minutes away, I’ll drive over. I get there. There’s someone at the front counter, he is chugging his whole water bottle. Eyes closed. Chugging, doesn’t stop to say hi. I’m just awkwardly standing there. He finished the water bottle, keeps his eyes closed holding his chest, and says nothing. I wanted to just walk out. So he finally, quietly says, how can I help you. At this point, I said F this, I’m canceling my appointment. This whole debacle since two weeks ago has been annoying and now this man is sitting here with his eyes closed, asking me how he can help me, clutching his chest, clearly unwell. All I wanted to do was add an oil change. Instead, I cancelled my appointment for Saturday. He asked my name, eyes still closed, and said, yeah okay I’ll take care of it. I doubt he cancelled it. All he asked was my first name. Not the date, last name, car, anything. I drove back to my job, called the Monro in Henrietta, of which they answered immediately, and set up an appointment with someone who was being professional. Customer service here is heavily lacking. If you’re looking for an awesome group of mechanics, go to the Monro in Henrietta. They’re amazing. I can’t say enough good things about them.

New stand in manager is doing his best with a subpar situation. Went out of his way to get us situated today with an unexpected repair. They may have actually fixed a noise we didn't even discuss.

I showed up to drop off my car for service. ~45min after opening time the front door was open, but the lights were off & nobody was staffing the front desk. I left and returned an hour later.I never received a call that my car was ready for pickup. I called ~20min before closing and spent ~15min on hold. When I reached a human he told me that my car was ready for pickup, but he had been too busy to call/notify me.To his credit, he offered to stay a few minutes after closing time so that I could pick up my car, which I appreciated.

Absolutely terrible experience! Left our jeep compass there on Monday because we were going out of town and told them that we would be needing it back first thing Wednesday morning to get to work. They were supposed to put on new brake pads ( to replace the pads that have their warranty) and have the oil changed. My husband went there to pick it up, as per the agreement, and it was not done. The girl at the desk was highly unprofessional and told us that we couldn't get our car until the tech came in. The tech told us that we needed new front ball bearings and we told him that we just had them replaced 2 months ago and he shrugged his shoulders and walked away.We will never use this business again and will make sure that EVERYONE we know in this area bring their business to a reputable garage. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!

The whole service was unprofessional. My appt was scheduled for 1pm and said it was supposed to be done later that evening. it wasn't even done 3 hours after open the next morning. They drove my car hard enough that my car was returned with mud splattered all over the door panels and all over my wheels. I do not recommend this repair shop if you are on a time restraint or if you care about the state of your car when it's returned.

I tried calling for an appointment 30 minutes before closing time and nobody answered. Called another store and they called with no answer. I stopped in and nobody was there. If their hours are set for a specific time they should probably still be there. I won’t be trying to go there again!

Had my truck into Fairport Monro Muffler today on July 4th for an alignment issue. Alexander and his Technician stayed after hours on a holiday to make sure my truck was done complete, knowing I needed it to work the next day. I can't say enough how appreciative I am to these guys. They definitely put the customer first today. Thank you gentlemen.
