“I am consistently met with outstanding customer service at the Lakewood, NY location!
Today I called ahead to see if they had a specific product and Bob answered the phone. I appreciate his exceptional customer service! He exhausted all options finding the product I was calling about. In his last place to look, he found them and offered to hold them in the office until I got there.
In other stores, I typically just get, "we don't have them".

“Went there to mail a FedEx return. Friendly, helpful staff but waiting for other customers buying groceries was something I could have done without because there was prolonged delays in what amounted to a convenience store checkout line. Which was not the environment I have confidence in for returning damaged items to manufacturer.”
“The Dollar general next to sinclairville on route 60 is the best one I've seen yet. I haven't been at all of them of course, but compared to the ones here in Jamestown it's nice! It's organized and it's clean. They have a lot of products that I haven't seen at other ones.”
“I've ordered some hard to find items online and had them shipped to this local store. They've been great people to work with!!... The online corporate ordering/shipping process has some glitches but that's not on the store. I have ordered 8 of one item twice but they only ship 2. No notification about a stocking level issue at time of ordering or after. And the customer support person assured me if the order went thru that the product was in inventory.”

Store is always being stocked, and if theres something you are looking for specifically they will help you look for it and if its unavailable they will hold it with your name when it does come in. “I'm done with the Washington st. store. They get all the disrespectful people in there. We're there for 10 minutes. 4 people go in & out without masks. One guy without a mask didn't give 6 ft. Stood right next to my sister. Happened 2 weeks ago too & other times. Nobody says anything to them. You can't refuse them but my gosh, say something.”
“The women were very patient with me and it was at closing time and they kept their cool and they did not become rude to me but they just made it very clear they were trying to close up and everything was on a timer but not once they catch an attitude with me or kick me out of the store and for that I appreciate them”

“I was pleased to stop in to get items I needed for my home office. I had interaction with two of the associates that were busy and took the time to explain where any item I needed was located. They were eager to show me where the product was I insisted they not do that because I know they always have things to do. ?The self check out station was easy to use and gave directions that even I could follow to use my card or take coupons.I would recommend the Frewsburg Dollar General!”
“Always a good selection of seasonal items with great prices. Can almost always find necessary household items. As with most DG's stores, overcrowded stock and narrow aisles make me want to get what I want and get out quickly. Never ask staff for assistance. They are seemingly not hired for their personality or friendliness.”
