“We truly love St. Mark’s Cooperative Nursery School and feel so grateful to have found this hidden gem! The program is led by certified teachers and thoughtfully designed around a play-based model that supports social, emotional, and academic growth in a developmentally appropriate way. Mrs. Testa and Miss Megan are incredible—loving, caring, kind, patient, and deeply attentive, fostering an environment where each child feels seen and valued. Special Days are an opportunity for parents and caregivers to be a part of the magic in the classroom, creating a strong sense of connection and trust. The enrichment program and extended day opportunities are a huge plus, offering engaging activities that genuinely enhance the children’s experience. St. Mark’s also offers spacious indoor and outdoor playgrounds so they can stay active and explore year-round. Weekly music classes with Miss Krysta are another highlight! Most importantly, the focus on social-emotional development has helped my son build confidence, kindness, and independence, while preparing him for the demands of kindergarten. We couldn’t recommend St. Mark’s more highly.”

“The Community House is a true treasure in Forest Hills. All three of my kids went to school and after-school here, and it’s been an incredible part of our lives. They learned to swim here, made lifelong friends, and grew in confidence. The staff is amazing — they truly care about the kids and the community. This is so much more than a facility; it’s a place that brings families together and helps children.”

“The authentic care and endless support of Pink Cans 4 Cancer (PC4C) is unmatched! As a breast cancer advocate since 2004, I was not prepared for my 2021 diagnosis. As I attended numerous doctors appointments and learning of the rocky road ahead I sought solice in knowing I had the support of PC4C /Tony. As a natural nurturer he knows just how to lean in with the right amount of TLC. The outpour of phone calls, text messages and meals not only fed my family as I underwent surgery it ushered in a sense of peace which allowed me to heal. I can not express my gratitude for such a phenomenal support you have been. I now look forward to the newly paved path ahead as I continue to recover and embrace my new normal. #PC4C❤ #IvyStronger”

“I have heard great things about all YMCA but have never visited. I went to my 1st YMCA since my brother took me and my family as a guest. I had played Tennis, Pickle Ball, used Gym, and did swimming. There is so much to do. The parking is not an issue. I would highly recommend this place if you around the area.”

“Pal-O-Mine Equestrian and The Theresa Foundation go back a very long way....I had the distinct privilege of being one of their first honorees over 20 years ago. We have had a beautiful relationship since then. The Foundation has consistently supported our children with disabilities year after year by providing scholarships to them. These scholarships allowed hundreds of children to attend equine classes at Pal-O-Mine and as a result these children have thrived. Collaboration in the not for profit world is of the utmost importance, especially on Long Island, and we are honored to be one of the Foundation's grant recipients for all these years.”

“Forest Hills Community Center is such an amazing place to visit . Everyone is eager to help you with everything you need. They are always smiling and trying to make it easier for you.
I enrolled here on the English 2 Work program . The program has options from beginning level to more advanced level of English.
The ABE classes are really helpful for the advanced students that can’t afford to pay this type of course in a private institution. I’m really grateful for being accepted in the program. I encourage everyone to take advantage of everything this program has to offer.
This kind of places are one of the things that makes New York City a place with lots of opportunities without any discrimination at all.”

“I came across this charity organization last year and have been seeing how they help people. I saw they help many families in crisis and they do it in a very nice way. Without showing it off to the world. They ensure 100% of the funds go towards charity and keep nothing. That's one the of best things I love. Recently helped a Widow of a fallen officer ? with some donations.”

“This place is run smoothly. I refuse to go to certain pantry, because some staff think that they can talk to you anyway they want to, and I am not having that. A lot of them like to see the unruly crowd, maybe they feel good about that. This place has law and order, not like the ones in my neighborhood that I don’t attend.”

“With an open heart, I want to put into words something that is profoundly real to me: the gratitude, respect, and admiration I feel for Karen Andrea Krokowski.

I remember with absolute clarity our first face-to-face meeting. I arrived carrying a mixture of hope, exhaustion, and a story marked by hardship. As Karen spoke to me — with clarity, firmness, and almost surgical precision — about the responsibility I needed to assume toward my case and toward her work, something very deep happened inside me. I did not feel fear. I did not feel pressure. I felt relief.

Because while she was explaining the importance of commitment, inside I was jumping with joy. Yes, joy. In that moment, I realized I was not sitting in front of an attorney who simply “handles cases,” but in front of a professional with true vocation. A woman who is detailed, meticulous, and demanding in exactly the right measure. And that level of expectation, far from unsettling me, brought me peace. It made me feel protected.

I understood that her way of working leaves no room for improvisation or mediocrity. Every word she spoke carried weight. Every instruction had purpose. Every warning had foundation. And without hesitation, I knew she was the perfect attorney for me. Because I am also restless, persistent, deeply responsible, and respectful of serious work. I needed someone who would not allow me to relax my effort, someone who would require me to give my very best. And Karen did that from day one.

The road we traveled was not easy. It was filled with obstacles, challenges, and moments when uncertainty seemed overwhelming. There was exhaustion. There was tension. There was fear. But I was never alone. Karen guided me with intelligence, strategy, and a firmness that held me up when I doubted myself. She set the direction when everything seemed unclear. She reminded me that every detail mattered. And because of that rigorous and steady guidance, we overcame each difficulty and achieved our goals step by step.

Today, I can say with complete honesty that I feel happy, proud, and deeply at peace being represented before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services by her. That peace is not naïve; it is built on the certainty that my case is in the hands of someone who handles it with excellence, ethics, and genuine responsibility.

CARECEN is truly blessed to have a professional of her caliber. Because her work is not merely technical. It is human. It is committed. It is conscious of the impact it has on the lives of those who place their trust in her.

Karen did not simply handle one case, or two. She accompanied me through one of the most sensitive and decisive processes of my life. Through her standards and her example, she taught me that discipline and integrity are forms of respect. And for that, my gratitude is infinite.

I feel honored that she is my attorney. I feel proud of the work we accomplished together. And I am deeply grateful to have found in her not only a professional of excellence, but a steady guide in the midst of uncertainty.

That is not forgotten. It is honored.”
