“A few days after purchasing an item through their website, I received a telephone call from Sports Depot stating that they did not have the item in stock, an older model of Russell youth football pants. They had the same pant in a size small and size large, but I needed a size medium. After requesting a refund to my credit card, the gentleman with whom I was speaking (possibly the manager/owner) asked me if I want the smaller and larger sized pants free of charge. I was surprised to say the least. The gentleman agreed to credit my account and send me two pair of youth football pants. He didn't have to do that. While it was a brief phone call, it was proof to me that their are definitely some customer service-oriented businesses still out there. It was my first experience with Sports Depot, but I fully intend to reach out to the company if I need to make a sporting goods purchase in the future. Thank you Sports Depot.”

“My son is just starting lacrosse, and the three workers who were there today couldn’t have been nicer. All were college lacrosse players and were very knowledgeable. They didn’t try to oversell and took the time with my son to see what was best for him. They taped his stick for him and explained basics. “You go here for service and selection. Upon arrival at the store you are greeted with an associate whom is dedicated to finding exactly what you need. They have a great selection of mid to high end apparel. The merchandise is usually for sale at the regular retail price, but when I arrived they offered me a ten percent discount. Generally, great service and selection and you might even get a slightly reduced price.”

“Great location for Nike gear/clothing, sneakers, and accessories. Occasionally has promotional sales that are generally cheaper than Nike's website/app and other stores. Promotional sales usually occur from Friday thru Monday, but can vary depending on the holiday, random offers, etc. Sometimes you can get lucky and find some hidden gems that are out of stock elsewhere and it's usually cheaper here. Parking lot can be very congested at times, with several other operating businesses sharing it in that Sands Shopping Center. Friendly and helpful staff/employees. Checkout lines can be long at times (especially during promotional sales), but does move along quickly with several cashiers available.”

“my wife has used LRB as her only long gun (they don't do pistols) ffl for many years. my wife has dealt directly with diana n has nothing but great things 2 say about the guidance n services she's gotten there. i've read the reviews above and 1 isn't deserved at all. the 2 star rant from an uneducated person above.... it's on YOU, the buyer, 2 know/abide by local/state laws on firearms purchases, NOT the receiving ffl. anybody that lives in nyc or ny state know that the laws that newyorkistan has passed in the "ny safe act" make no sense whatsoever, so something as simple and harmless as a pistol grip design, or threaded barrel, or stock with a thumb hole or that folds, can turn regular hunting rifles/shotguns into "assault weapons" according 2 new york's arbitrary gun laws. the buyer, as always, should do the diligence, as long guns come in all shapes n sizes, n just 1 "banned feature" in new york turns a deer rifle into a "banned assault weapon" even tho those feature do nothing 2 make the gun more harmful than its original form, but it most def looks more scary, so the ppl that have never fired a gun who wrote the laws in ny say it's illegal now, cause it looks, not functions different, which makes less than no sense when u compile it with the fact that criminals don't abide by gun laws anyway, n the vast majority of shootings in ny n the US r with pistols, not long guns, so again, that 2 star review above, should b disregarded imo.”
