I had an age restricted item in self checkout. There was no one up front, and no employees in sight. It was minutes before I was helped. When someone decided I was worth the time, I showed them my NY Mobile ID, and was told it’s not good enough. He needs the hard copy. How is an ID that is good enough to get into federal buildings, enter TSA, and for law enforcement not good enough to purchase melatonin? Please direct me to where it states anywhere in your store that you must be a Luddite to purchase children’s medication. The rest of the world is going to pass you by for institutions that understand technology changes. It’s unfortunate because this is (was) the most convenient location. Now I’m just going to plan ahead and order on Amazon where no ID is required.

I truly love the pharmacy at this location, 450 Main Street Farmingdale. The pharmacy staff are so nice and always help me. Thank you Anthony for all your help and getting what I need. Everyone is very helpful and understanding about how hard it can be and giving their kind support to getting my medication that I need. This small family at the pharmacy is exactly what a customer needs to feel safe and confident that their needs are truly being met. Love you all!!!

I have been coming here for the past few years to get my vaccines. The staff members are always very pleasant and helpful. The nurses administer treatment with compassion and care.

Closed ten minutes before posted closing time. Disgraceful. Zero stars.
Update: the owner doesn't keep the store open until the posted time on the door, but managed to respond to negative Google reviews at 3 in the morning. This is the only drugstore within walking distance of a train station, not everyone nearby has a car. The least you can do is stay open for your advertised business hours.

Extra bucks and dollar off coupon loaded on my CVS card occasionally do not work which results in money loss to the customer. Beware at checkout to see if things aren’t working properly.

Community pharmacy is not what it used to be when no one when picking up a med you have never used before cannot give you a verbal direction must be put in frig. And they assume no responsibility for all those in Farmingdale use Moby drugs instead. I wish I had. CVS pays their pharmacists 6 figures but telling a customer verbally to put med in frig is too much to expect that is shameful. Or using An alert sticker is all that is needed but that too is too much to ask. Shameful all around!
I checked with AI ChatGPT and they told me meds were save to go back in frig if left out for 20 hours and used safely CVS pharmacists are too green no experience or chemistry knowledge to know this. Moby drugs has experienced pharmacists going there from now on.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The pharmacist is unprofessional and will throw a fit if you come in 10 minutes before her lunch break. She will talk about you to her peers while you are standing there. Disgusting. The most unprofessional experience. If you plan on using this as your pharmacy I highly suggest you don’t. See you never!

We went to buy medicine and ask for a restroom since I need to use what I bought. Btw, It’s usual to find a restroom available in most CVS stores. However, one of the clerks told us that they have the bathroom but that we need to ask other clerk. She simply refused to open the bathroom and she said is not public with a very bad attitude. Never had this kind of issues with CVS all over the country.

Poor service and inconsiderate staff. Disregard for patients time. Waited well over an hour at the pharmacy for medication. The pharmacy tech informed us that medication would be ready to pick up before lunch break, when we went back to pick up the medication was told by another tech it wouldn’t be ready for another WEEK bc it wasn’t due to be picked up, which was false. Then proceeded to have us wait another hour until after lunch break for the medication. I recommend saving your time and use another pharmacy.

Rudest pharmacy staff on Earth. Phones don’t work, they know it and blame it on corporate. Do something about it then. Emily is an extremely rude and dishonest pharmacist. Go to a local pharmacy instead.

The staff at the pharmacy is usually pretty friendly and there is very little weight. Most times I go early morning. Definitely a pleasant experience

This pharmacy makes up their own regulations… the pharmacy manager even admitted her employee was wrong for denying a transfer to another pharmacy that had it in stock (it was not a controlled substance) you will get a text that your medicine is ready just to go there and be told it’ll be ready in an hour, if you need to go to cvs to get prescriptions.. go to the one in Commack on Commack Rd
