I ordered a custom bookshelf from them because it was hard to find one with the right height. I had never bought custom furniture before. Filling out the form on the website was very easy, and they were extremely prompt in replying. It was easy to communicate with them by email and by phone, and they made sure to send me a design with the dimensions for me to sign off on. They made the bookshelf exactly the way I asked, and it arrived sooner than I expected. I highly recommend their custom bookshelves! I'm very happy.

After an impossible search for a unique shaped cabinet, a friend recommended Gothic as they make custom pieces. I met Vagelis at the Farmingdale store who designed a cabinet with my exact specifications. The cabinet was delivered today. It is very well made and great quality. It was a very positive experience and delivery was in the promised time frame

Wonderful kitchen counter built by Gothic Cabinet Craft to replace a counter we had built almost 40 years ago. This one was built to our specifications after discussing options and receiving suggestions from GCC. Their excellent technical advice ensured that the finished product was exactly what we wanted yet functioned without a flaw. We would highly recommend.

We wanted a new captains bed to accommodate our new King mattress. We spoke with Vagelis from the Farmingdale location who helped us customize our captains bed to make it exactly what we wanted. Everything was seamless and we couldn’t be happier. If you have never purchased furniture from gothic when you should know the build quality is like non other and you will have it for life.

The long wait was well worth it. The cabinets arrived and look beautiful. Due to a small miscalculation on my part one needed a little custom fitting. The delivery crew stepped up to the task and performed the necessary adjustments in a few minutes. The entire process from purchase to delivery and installation was a 5 star experience. My very fussy wife and I are well pleased.

I ordered a dresser at the end of February 2022, i was told 14 weeks- ok fine, no problem there. The second week of April, gothic furniture calls to set up delivery for the following week- mind you, we're at the SIX week mark- and I'm on vacation in Florida. The guy was so pushy, saying he could put it off one week- like he's doing me a favor or something.. I land in NY around midnight, the dresser is delivered the next morning, wrapped up like a zombie on steroids. Impossible to inspect without unwrapping the whole thing. This particular dresser didn't come in white, only stains, so I ordered it unfinished. It looked ok but was hard to tell through the plastic. I didn't open it up for atleast 5 weeks because I had to finish it (sand, prime, paint, seal)- and I wasn't expecting to receive it so early. I would have never chosen to have it delivered the day after I flew back from vacation- bc it sat in my house for over a month, I couldn't take more time off of work obviously, I had planned to spend time on it when it was SUPPOSED to arrive. Their refund policy is a joke, which I found out from reading the back of my invoice- review their policies prior to purchasing. There are no full refunds- I highly doubt they would take responsibility for any defects or mistakes on their end- bc you should see this damn dresser. The back of it is 1/8" to 1/4" ROUGH, cheap PLYWOOD. There are four small drawers across the top, one of which has a giant knot missing, just below the edge of the dresser. Literally, looks like night and day compared to what I saw in the store. There is so many splinters in the wood on the interior of the dresser. One piece of wood inside and along the back of it, was snapped. I had to have someone cut a piece to reinforce it- I've spent well over $200, just on wood, I had to buy to either replace or reinforce certain parts, because I'm not going to finish something that looks like SH!T to begin with. The top is not one piece of wood, it's pieces joined together- not the same as what I saw in the store. The drawers have small gaps (holes) between the bottom and sides in the corners. There are SO MANY extra holes that were drilled and nothing was put into them. The staples holding the plywood along the back are not even in the right spots. I can't believe I spent over $1,600 on this BEFORE TAX, to not only have to finish it, but to repair it. This thing is a mess, I have put so much energy and money into it, that I might as well have built it from scratch, at this point. There was no bottom under the last drawer, 2/3 of the bottom had wood, 1/3, nothing. It literally looks like someone used the scraps they had to make this POS. I'm beyond livid. Honestly, I am considering taking this company to small claims court. Totally took advantage of my fiancée and I, and I think the salesman did so, bc we look younger than we are. Additionally, we paid $1103 and had a balance of $1104- review the amounts and add them- we were overcharged $50. When we confronted the guy who sold us the dresser, over the phone on the day of delivery, he tried to tell us that we couldn't read the numbers correctly. I didn't alter the original invoice at all. See for yourself. $1828 + $150 (delivery) + $179.98 (tax) *DOES NOT* = $2,207. It should have been $50 less, we got ripped off on the invoice- and in every other way possible, too. So effing done w gothic furniture. I do not recommend unless you like paying a ton of money for junk. I would have been better off buying just about anything else!

We ordered an L-shaped desk with filing cabinets, computer keyboard tray, book shelves, a pencil drawer, and built-in power outlets on the surface for a home office, custom made and designed by Gothic Cabinet Craft in Farmingdale, after a long search on the usual pre-fab marketplace where we were unable to find such a desk that met all of our needs. Going in to the process, we had many uncertainties and questions about design details which made us anxious, but Farmingdale Gothic's head designer Vagelis Bournias helped us through them all with his expert guidance and input, which put us at ease. We could not have been happier with the result. The colonial maple veneer has a beautiful sheen, the desk fits our space perfectly, and meets all of our many functional requirements. The office is like a new room and we could happily spend the whole day there! We will certainly return to Gothic with any future custom wood furniture needs.

I was looking for a small hutch for my kitchen. Width had to be under 33in..i found an unfinished piece in the clearance section downstairs.. i wasn't sure about finishing it myself since i never did it before...i was really happy w the outcome..piece is very sturdy. I will try to show before and after.

Gothic Cabinet Craft built the most incredible custom bookcases for our home library. After describing our vision to Vagelis Bournias, the head designer, we received his gorgeous sketch of exactly what we wanted. A few months later, the final product sits in our home. It is absolutely stunning. We could not have had a better experience or been more pleased with the results. We highly recommend Vagelis and Gothic Cabinet Craft!

Gothic creates masterpieces from the ideas in your head or you can visit their showroom for ideas. From start to finish they were so professional and knowledgeable about a kitchen cabinet unit I needed for an empty wall in my kitchen. Their expect designer helped me create a drawing and then their craftsmen built it to order. They accurately predicted how long it would take to build and then delivered an exquisite piece that was nicer than I envisioned.

AMAZING! We purchased a bedroom set for our teen age son queen size ! Impressive furniture is so sturdy and quality is outstanding! The nice sales men at the location were so professional and walked us thru everything we asked ! Very happy we are going back to purchase our set! The quality is unheard of at these cheaper stores ! We have bought so many sets due to the horrible make this will last forever !

Vagelis's design input and shop drawings were critical in helping us with an awkward corner TV unit built-in. His expertise and attentiveness was one of the reasons why we decided to go with Gothic. The product was installed in a few hours and the quality was great. The installers were professional and were able to react to site challenges affectively. we will absolutely work with gothic again
