Molloy Moving recently did a move for us and we were extremely satisfied. Jennifer coordinated everything perfectly and the moving crew was professional and courteous. I would highly recommend using Molloy's services.

Bad experience with Molloy Brothers Moving and Storage.Pros- showed up on time. Completed move under estimated time. Provided refund for mover leaving mid-move.Cons- rough. Dining room table now has a large chunk of wood taken out of the side. Boxes dropped on floor instead of placed down. Didn’t put together bed frames as we requested (have moved 5+ times using a moving company- they always assemble the bed frames in new house.) Furniture not put in directed rooms.Worst was that we contracted for 5 movers. Mid move, 1 disappears. When we notice, ask and are told “I think he’s in the bathroom.” Nope, flat left. Crew never communicated to us or, we assume, to the office that a mover had to leave. We get that people get sick, have emergencies, etc. But they never would have told us and we would have paid for 5 movers as contracted. The trying to hide the situation is what we can’t get over. Dishonest crew.Would not recommended.

Company played games with the billing, tried to amicably resolve to no avail. Movers broke my Weber grill. Would not recommend

Do not sign the paperwork until a few days after the move after you’ve had time to unpack and check everything!!!Lost a couple of my items. Then took no responsibility for it, since I didn’t notice it until after the move was completed. Anyone who has moved into a new home can understand how hectic the process is. Especially if they have toddlers. I should have checked everything I owned for anything missing. But in good faith I signed the paperwork before checking all my possessions. I didn’t want to make the workers have to wait an extra hour for me to do so, nor did I really have the time with everything that was going on. They also damaged my very expensive table, and will only reimburse me a small percentage of the tables value because they go by the weight of the item not the cost. I had to fill out a big claim form just to be told I’m out of luck with the whole claim. This is shameful. Don’t even bother replying with some empty apology. Any sincere apology would include making the situation right. You got my money and damaged and lost a few of my valuable items. No words can make that right. Very very unprofessional. Avoid this company!!!!!

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY ************ is fraudulent. I have moved 13 times in last 22 years, this was the worst.. They lost the inventory, they lost large pieces of furniture, there were black smudges on all my white furniture, they broke an extra ordinary amount of dishes and a third of all my picture frames, I have always bought insurance for every move and never needed it. I spent $10,000 in insurance on this move and made a claim of $5000. They stalled and questioned. After dozens and calls and emails, they politely said in a few weeks an estimator would come to the house to evaluate the damage. After weeks of no one coming and showing up, they would apologize and vow to send someone else. That went on for months. They Never paid and stopped answering me. My only recourse is a lawyer apparently. I literally became ill trying to get them to respond.

The best! Use no one else. From the sales and estimation, the moving coordinator and the movers, they very all A+++++.I have moved many times in my life. This was a two truck move. I got an estimate price from Molloy and also and maximum price. Both reasonable and competitive prices. Guess what, they were under the estimated price. I never got money back from a move. Usually, I am adding money. Use them for a hassle free, fair and professional job. And their movers are polite, wrapped everything, were careful and quick. A very pleasant team.

This is the second time that I have worked with Molloy Brothers on a move and the second time that the move went perfectly. This time it was to move from the west side to the east side of Manhattan. The moving team arrived early, packed quickly - with nothing broken or damaged - and completed the cross-town move from start to finish in about four hours. The crew was friendly, efficient and very professional. Plus the customer service team at the home office was absolutely the best.

This is the absolute best moving company. I moved cross country fro East coast to West coast. Chris Blank and Keisha Carter were the BEST!!!!!!! Calls answered, emails responded to, and most importantly my furniture arrived as scheduled. Moving is such a stressful experience, however Keisha Carter was beyond words !!! Kind, thoughtful, respectful and responsive. She took all my fears away !!!! An absolutely lovely woman !!! Chris Blank, from day one was terrific.. So honest and transparent. I could not asked for more and always answered a call or text message. As moving is such a HORRIBLE experience, Molloy Bros. (Mayflower) far exceeded my expectations. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! They are the best the industry has to offer. My heartfelt thanks go to Keisha and Chris!

Made the move from Long Island to Nashville. Tons of stress to deal with but none from the move itself. The team was amazing packing all of our precious goods. Everything arrived on time and in excellent condition. Highly recommend their service and Stephen S is the best to deal with.

Extremely happy with the moving services provide by Molloy Brothers. I've worked with them on two moves: Manhattan to New Haven in 2020 and west side to east side of Manhattan this week (UN week in NYC). Even with the crazy congestion of UN week, they managed to pull off a perfect move. Quick, efficient packing (nothing broken or damaged), friendly, professional and reasonably priced (quality costs a little more, but Molloy is worth it - first class service all the way). I don't like to move, but if I have to again, no question I'll call Molloy to handle it.

The short version of this story is that after a month of trying to have our belongings delivered, we still do not have them. We are paying rent and utilities on a home we cannot live in. Read on for more information. From the beginning, our move was bungled every step of the way. While I assure you that everyone I interacted with was pleasant, nothing went right. No one communicated with me. It's been 1 month since my initial contact to have my belongings delivered to my new home, and I am still waiting. I am beyond disappointed, as Molloy Bros came highly recommended. On our load day, the movers were over 2 hours late. No one contacted us, so I had to call to find out what was happening. We were told the movers were 45 minutes away. Forty-five minutes later, the movers called to say they were an hour away. They were even later than that. (They also clogged our toilet.) Delays like this significantly impact a cross-country move, and we lost valuable time starting our drive. I'm thankful we weren't flying, or we would have missed our flight. When we were ready to have our belongings delivered to our new place, it took me 2 weeks of phone calls to schedule it. Since it took 2 weeks to set up the move, this meant we would wait a total of four weeks.Forty-eight hours before delivery, I called to ensure everything was on track. At that time, I was told our belongings were sent to Florida instead of Wisconsin and had to return to NJ before they could be delivered to the correct location. Again, nobody called to let me know. When would we have found out? While we were waiting at our new home on the day of delivery? They escalated our case and assured us of an update by the end of the day. Not only did no one call, but they stopped taking my calls. Molloy Bros prides itself on excellent service. Their service is an embarrassment, as it is practically nonexistent.

Don’t use this company, they will make fraudulent charges on your credit card.TLDR: They charged an extra $1200 to my credit card with no warning or explanation, refusing to provide an itemized list of charges.****** Update *****Definitely fraud. I finally received an invoice after writing this review. The company added an extra 7 hours of moving time, plus an extra person for the delivery. The move was 7.5 hours for move out and move in, but they charged me for 14.5 hours @ $236 per hour. They also charged me for 101 boxes but I only had 59.In total, they over charged me by $2152.78, meaning they actually owe me $900. I sent over a spreadsheet detailing the errors but have not heard back. I have documents detailing the number of boxes, and camera footage of the move that was severely less than the 14.5 hours they charged me for.To add insult to injury, my large ceramic planter arrived in pieces. I’m afraid of what I’ll find when I unpack the mirrors. Again, this is probably not the best company for moving, especially if you value not being completely scammed and ripped off.**************I recently had a move with Molly Brothers for packing, moving, storing and delivering to my new address. They seemed legit as they’re apart of Mayflower. But now on believe both are bad companies.I was given a full quote with all the charges for each service and all the materials. My move ended up using less materials with less workers. Still just before the move I was charged for and paid the entire quote in full.A month after the first charge, they charged me an additional $1200, without any warning or explanation. This was despite the fact that I only authorized them to charge me for the quoted price. But they do this sneaky thing where they don’t use a secure system for your credit card, like literally any other business in 2022. They make you type your number in a DocuSign form, so they can charge it all wild crazy.Anyway, I asked “Jennifer” for an itemized list detailing the reason for the charge. She says oh, you didn’t pay for delivery. Yet the quote clearly outlines me paying for each step of the move, including delivery. Of course, she never sends over an itemized list, because there is no valid reason for the charge. And now I have to file a fraud claim with my card company, get a new card and all that.Don’t make the same d*** mistakes I did, don’t use Molloy Brothers. Don’t put your credit card number, even a virtual card number, into a DocuSign. Don’t use Mayflower. Seriously, just stay away.

The gentleman running the move did not introduce himself and had a terrible attitude. Our stuff just fit on the truck and he requested us to take a lampshade. Our cars were full. He told me he was doing me a favor and complained about the pounds on the truck. Meanwhile, a representative was at our home to actually see what the move entailed. It took them way too long to get to our new home. The only good thing I can say is that they didn’t break anything!

Broke a portable bar, because it was wrapped tightly with plastic . Not considering that that fold down parts were hinged to allow bar to be expanded to more than 5 feel long.the inside core of bar had compartments for glasses stored, and other compartments for bar essentials. In the bottom of bar had a locked compartment for storing liquor as needed. When extended the bar had brass foot rests for decoration. My daughter graduated from nursing school and this was gift to express her appreciation. Intial cost $750+ 7 yrs ago . I did call Molloy Bros Move Coord. Kesha the afternoon of move and explained how bar was broke and beyond repair June 8th @ 1600hrs. Move supvr Juan constantly interrupt during call to Kesha saying " not broke " . Not a company that you want to move your your furniture with care . Mayflower Moving is affiliated somehow, if I were Mayflower I would break all ties with the Molloy Bros. moving & storage. Almost 2 months and have not yet seen anyone from Molloy Claims dept to review the damage or even speak with my move Coord. "Kesha" . This company is a scam & shameful. I'm a disabled Vietnam vet 100% at age 76 . I served as Capt. US Army , Corps of Engineers proudly and do not expect to be treated in this manner . Beware of this company and God Bless my fellow veterans.
