Doctor called in a script and 45 minutes later we went to pick it up but it wasn’t ready. Okay I get that but we went back two hours later and found it still wasn’t ready. I saw folks in the back just showing pictures and not working and no one was waiting but me. Another gentleman came in after me and his wasn’t ready either. After another 15 minute wait I finally got the Medication. You people need to do the work and less playing around. This is why I don’t do my business with CVS.

I have shopped at CVS since 2000 when I moved to area. It's convenient. Prices have increased at an insane rate to the point I don't purchase there very often. The coupon receipts are just stupid long, and they expire so quickly! It's to the point that I just toss them out now. BUT !!! serious part that makes me pause! In the past two months I've had serious pharmacy errors and I want to make them public! Please read if you are CVS customer! The first one was for an antibiotic that was prescribed to me for an ear infection. Printed instructions said to take two capsules a day for seven days! But...I felt like I was taking them forever? Finally I counted. I had two extra weeks worth of capsules. I called CVS. Did I speak to pharmacy director? I don't know. I asked to... there was no follow through from anyone regarding my concerns about quality control. Why did I receive twice the needed amount? Most times when I go in, I see a very bored, disinterested looking pharmacist and a bunch of young pharmacy techs or interns who are more interested in talking to each other than customer service. This week, I was informed that a refill of one of my prescriptions was on back order! It is related to blood pressure/ heart medication under close scrutiny for various reasons, and my prescription may be a substitute. Hence- in short supply and back ordered. The tech said she could check if it was available at other CVS Stores. I told her to check the Greece, NY , Mount Read store as I'd be in the area on Sunday. She said they had stock and refill was ordered! I picked it up Monday May 6. Tonight, I had to open the refill and as I shook them into my hand I noticed that the tablets were of varying sizes!! Upon closer inspection I realized that the larger size tablets are of 80 mg dose, while the smaller tablets are of the 40 mg dose. The 40 mg dose is the dose prescribed to me! WHY was I given two different dosages in one bottle? Carelessness! Doesn't a certified pharmacist have to count and account for prescriptions? WHO is filling these prescriptions? Young techs or interns? What if I was "frail elderly" person and didn't notice the variation! Hard to miss, but I can see an elderly patient not noticing! Two terrible mistakes within two months? What else are we not noticing in our prescriptions being filled at CvS? Where is the quality control? I want to take my concerns to the local news outlets. If one person has experienced what I have in two months, how many else have as well?
