Horrible branch. I believe I was speaking with an employee named Fabiana? Anyway, I went there with my now ex-fiance to separate our joint account, because I was worried he was going to steal my money. I told her my concerns and how important this situation was, and she gave me the go ahead once the accounts were separated (or so she told me) that it was safe to put my money back in and I could leave. So I did that, and then a week later my ex emptied my bank account, I had to make a police report and everything. Went back to this chase and spoke with Fabiana again, and she told me that he changed his mind after I left and therefore still had access to the account? True or not, my ex ended up telling me SHE gave him this idea after I had already left. So anyway, she told me when I went back that I needed to have closed the account entirely for him to not have access. I asked her why she didn't tell us this when we were there to separate the account especially when she was told the situation, and she basically told me that's not her problem. So I closed the account, made a new one and she told me I could just connect my current debit card to this new account and save the trouble of waiting on a new one. After all was done, I left, thinking things were good and to no surprise, my debit card doesn't work. I went to a different chase and they told me it's not even possible to connect the card to the new account, so I'm not sure what Fabiana was talking about. Total incompetence, I have never been more appalled at customer service. If I could give 0 stars I would.
