i liked the final product of my hair however, my stylist thinned the hell out of my hair without telling me that’s what was being done, and trimmed off what they wanted instead of asking me what i was okay with. Additionally, i was charged for services I was unaware that I was receiving, and only received an “i’m sorry about that”. Poor communication, and at the end of the day my hair looked nothing like the picture I showed. They are lucky I still liked it and still paid because the service was not it🙂

I just had my hair done for the second time here, and I am disappointed. I prioritize getting the right treatment for my curly hair, if it be cuts and whatnot. My type is 3-A, and the right treatment is necessary since I don’t use heat and always style naturally. The first time, I asked for someone who knew how to cut curly hair, and had a lady who cut, dried, and styled my hair beautifully. The second time, however, when I requested that I get someone who cuts curly hair, she didn’t understand nor take advice from the other stylists well. My hair was styled poorly because they tried to salvage it, but it didn’t work well. I will still go, but I needed to put my story out there. Make sure to check with stylists to make sure they know how to cut, dry, and style curly hair to one’s approval.

My daughter went for a blow out for prom and was recommended a cut too. Hair dresser rushed through it no styling few curls at the ends, and charged $96. Was sent home crying. Stay away.

My daughter had her hair done by Liana for her senior prom and she did an incredible job matching exactly what my daughter asked for. I also called in the morning to try to move up her appointment as the timing of her plans changed and they went above and beyond to try to help us. Truly they were all so lovely and the service was equally as amazing.

Total was $90 online when I booked my services, got charged $115 after I was done, asked her why it was $90 online and she ignored me. Other than that my hair came out really good just not really happy about up-charging after already finishing my hair.

My mom had her hair done the day before, and left unhappy with her hair. However, we came to Shear Motion the next day and my mom was treated with upmost respect and treated as Judy's main priority. Her hair issue was fixed and now it looks amazing!

This place is extremely unprofessional. I’m also in the service industry and if I wanted a client to come back to me I certainly wouldn’t treat them the way they treated me and the rest of the clientele around me. I saw Lori today for a haircut and she was rough around the edges. She told me my hair looked terrible. She poked me in the eye and didn’t even seem to care. She left my hair wet and didn’t thoroughly dry it. She was overall very self centered and just flat out rude and obnoxious. They also had a client who wasn’t very great with English and they treated her very badly. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Under no circumstances should a man get a haircut from Mary. Nice lady, but Lord Almighty her ability to cut men’s hair is abysmal.

I did not like the vibe. Each person I talk to sounded like I was inconvienecing them or wasn't supposed to be there. I did not feel welcomed. I tried to ignore it as I had not met my stylist yet. I got there for my appointment, one minute early which the girl at the desk told me to wait a few minutes for my stylist then decided to pointed out I was early early anyways. After 35 minutes of sitting there, feeling uncomfortable and unwelcomed, I walked out and left. An hour after my appointment was schedule I got a call and text apologizing for it taking to long and to get a 10% discount on my service if I reschedule. I'm usually ok with waiting but I really couldn't stand the feeling and looks I got from the people there.
