I was guided to fix my Brother printer as an authorized service center. This place looked closed, but I left a voice message because nothing else I can do. At least they got back to me, and said 'Not an Authorized service center anymore' and they moved different location. So, Do Not listen to Brother and waste your time!!

I was in a complete jam with my laptop which I run my business with. The hard disk went bad and I had a failed external hard drive back up file. Tom was able to retrieve all of my data off of my laptop, replace the hard disk and uploaded all my data back. He knew I was in a bind as I was leaving for vacation and I needed to take my laptop with me ....so he was kind enough to take it with him over his weekend and complete the repairs then. Very fair price and incredible customer service in my case! Will be happy to realize them if needed in the future.

No contact! I have tried for the past 3 months to get a hold of this company as I did business with them, bought computers from them and at the time they were very accessible and very good. I have called them 7 times and left messages with my phone number to get a call back, but have received no call back. This is the time during Corona so I am not sure they are open but its now close to the end of June, I started this before Corona and still no response. Guess they are closed for good!

Has anybody tried to find out what's on some old floppy discs they've found in a box of junk in their closet? I have and it's not easy. The Syracuse Computer store can do it and put it on a thumb drive for you. They're nice people too!

Super helpful, personable staff. I had called about an oddly specific part for my pc and while they initially told me they couldn't find it, they called me back and let me know that they did find one more in the back. Even stayed a couple minutes late to let me come pick it up! I'll definitely be coming back in the future.

Extremely poor service. First they do not return calls and repairs aren't performed in a timely manner. Second they can't be trusted to use parts that are reliable or give honest feedback on your repair choices. Lost significant income in my business based on those two concerns and would never recommend this business.

A complete joke & rip off! Do NOT trust these guys! Scam artists & conmen. Ignore all the positive reviews & people trying to say that diagnosis & repair takes time. They have no clue what they are talking about. I've been in the electronics & computer field for over 30 years. That being said, you learn to diagnose while speaking with the person who is having the problem. 80% of the time you already know what the problem is & can give a pretty specific time frame on how long it will take to get it righted. This place is more interested in your money than your repeat business. They do not really care about your problem when you are getting your "ticket" written up, because they bill by the hour no matter if it takes them 5 minutes to fix the problem or 50. So you can go in with a VERY simple problem that takes 30 seconds to fix, but they are more interested in stealing your money than providing you with a 30 second fix & building a positive business relationship with you. They prey on the ignorance of the general populace to not know much about electronics. They use that to their advantage & use technical terms to hype up a simple, benign problem & get you to upgrade your services to more than what you really need. Not to mention that every single person that comes in they offer "express service" to at a higher rate, which does not get your ticket addressed any faster, you just get charged more in the end. Further proof of their shady nature, just look at their website. The website is either a canned template that they failed to edit properly or they completely stole it from someone else's site. The parts that they edited to suit their needs are in English the rest of the site is in Latin. I would not trust a "computer repair" company that can't even figure out how to build a proper website! I've gone in a few times to see what they have to offer & I've heard the blatant lies that they have told to their unsuspecting customers. I've listened to the customers explain their problems & I knew right away what the problem was & that it was a 2 minute fix, yet they are told that it'll be a few days to fix it but that they will "get right on it". I've heard the owner be quite rude to customers who had too many questions or were not happy with the service that they received. Berating them & giving them excuse after excuse for how it's not their fault & that they were told about this when they came in. They basically will not answer any of your questions with anything definitive till they have you sign their contract & they know they've got your money locked in. If things start to get too pricey for you, they will be happy to write everything off as long as you sign over the item in question to them. Which if you do, they then turn around & sell it to some other unsuspecting person.

Tom and Ellen at Syracuse Computer store could not have been more helpful and cost effective. Tom spent LOTS of time helping me navigate the new computer I was getting from him after mine crashed. It was wonderful not having to go to the Apple Store and wait in line only to be told nothing could be done. Thank you for your patience and knowledge regarding my computer. Nancy D.

I needed thermal paste to attach my new CPU and motherboard. They were very friendly and professional on the phone and in person and had what I needed for a lower price than Amazon or Best Buy. Three wins in my book!

A HORRIBLE place! NEVER USE IT! They are expensive and slow, and the older lady, who said she is "just" a receptionist, is absolutely awful and rude!!! She said she doesn't know anything, and her job is only to receive phone calls. Are these job descriptions of receptionists basically, answering client's questions, etc. I tried to ask questions about the status of my computer, this woman just kept interrupting me over and over again and did not allow me to speak at all. Absolutely unreliable customer service.

I was in a big jam. My laptop wouldn't turn on and Apple gave me two places to try. Syracuse Computer Store was the one open on Saturday! I went there with my old laptop, my new laptop and an external hard drive. They said they could get my info transferred. Well they discovered that my new laptop didn't have enough memory. So they transferred what they could to the new laptop so I could keep working (I'm a doctoral student) and kept the external hard drive to transfer everything else. I could have gotten all my stuff the same day but they close at 3:00 on Saturday. I picked up my external hard drive and old laptop on Monday, promptly returned the new laptop and then custom ordered another new laptop. It took over a week for the bigger laptop to arrive but when it did I migrated all my information from the external hard drive to the new laptop and I'm back in business. They saved my info! They did what the Apple Store could not and they were reasonable. If you have an appliance that is not in warranty, take it to them!

These guys can fix -anything-. Over the years they fixed my printers, computers, and currently they are fixing a 50" HD Plasma that needed jumpers replaced because of a power surge.
