Brought my grandson in for his 1st sweet shop experience ! The salesperson let him taste a maltball and now he lives Alps and I will be back for more !!!

Called the shop about a week ago to inquire about a large Easter Bunny which my wife was planning to deliver to her former co-workers. At that time she was quoted $150. My son drove 40 miles to pick it up and was charged $243.28. Shen then called the shop and stated that it would be returned, less than 5 minutes after purchase. Which it was.The owner was rude and abrupt, and hung up. Wife called back again and was again treated rudely. My son was told to tell my wife not to call back.
Essentially instead of apologizing, she became defensive. We currently live over 100 miles from the shop, and still wanted to purchase from them. In the past we lived near Danbury and would make an annual trek there to purchase their outstanding candy.

Absolute top chocolate shop anywhere. I can assure you there is no better in the Northeast, that's for sure! The chocolate is otherworldly. As good as Norwegian chocolate, and for those of you who haven't had Norwegian chocolate, this is saying A LOT. And they are not afraid to experiment. We had the chocolate pork rinds. They were great but then we had a choco covered devil dog. This thing is probably one of the top 5 things I've ever stuffed in my gob! I've now had almost everything they offer and it's all gourmet perfection. And while the chocolate is spectacular, the service is outstanding as well. I called and enquired about ordering devil dogs (they were out of stock online) and they said they would reach out when they were in stock again. Over a month later, I get a call from Katie. They actually remembered to call me! 10 dogs are on their way! What a pleasant surprise. These folks deserve every bit of success that comes their way! Buy with complete confidence!

Purchased some great holiday chocolates. If you want any specialty items like chocolate chips or Expresso beans go early as they sell quickly.

Best chocolate in the Hudson Valley. If you know a diabetic in the 845 They have probably told you that they can no longer eat chocolate.....Unless it's from Alps. After 43 Alps Easter Bunnies I moved my mother down to NJ but will be sure to swing up in late winter to continue our Alps Easterbunny tradition. Thank you for sweetening up the Hudson Valley!

Delicious chocolate and candy! We worked with Sally to create small takeaway candy bags for event guests - nonpareils, gummy bears, sour candy. She helped us figure out the right amounts based on number of attendees and budget. Our guests loved the various options!

Chocolate selection was very varied and the basic flavors and lesser ones well held here. That said, I found the service very good and counter person was very helpful and pretty patient with me getting a small box selection. All the chocolates were great, can't say I had a bad piece in the box

I have been frequenting the Alps since I was a kid. This is the ONLY chocolate that I like. The staff is always helpful and kind. The store is alway immaculately clean. I moved to Florida and I only get it once in a while now.
