Friendly depending on who you get, but what happened to appearance and dress code?
One of the workers had a beard down to his naval. And they had a movie playing on a big screen TV in the lobby??? is this what $.73 first class stamp is paying for? Outrageous.

USPS in both Fishkill, Wappingers Falls and Beacon have the most, knowledgeable staff of any post office I've ever visited. They are all so friendly and helpful.

I always maintained a PO Box at the Fishkill, NY Post Office. I can always rely on them. I stopped by on a Saturday morning to check on the PO Box for any mail before visiting The Medicine Shoppe next door. I decided to buy a book of stamps. The fellow behind the counter was happy, joyful, polite and showed me options for stamps that a woman behind me also looked at. I left light hearted and humming. That fellow is priceless and I have holiday snow globe stamps I can enjoy for quite some time. The Post Office there also has a feature to notify you when mail is about to arrive. Check into it. The fellow his morning and his service was beyond 5 stars.

I had to endure the Jerome Ave PO ZIP code 10468 for decades; that was my zip code. No choice. Run by the 3 stooges school of operations, not wheelchair accessible, mail delivered to the wrong address as long as the last name looks close. The place is an abomination. That's a euphemism for them and the lead paint peeling off the ceiling and walls and the low-life's hanging around outside. What a difference: no 2" thick plexiglass walls, windows that don't work, "Next Window" signs at every window, snotty surly sleeze bags on the other side of the counter is what the 10468 PO is a dump. Don't even bother contacting the Postmaster Gen'l; you'll NEVER hear back. The Fishkill Post Office is an oasis, a Garden of Eden in comparison. Generally, I'm in and out so fast my head is spinning. Tracy seems to know the whole village, by name if not by face. They entire staff are helpful, cordial, and efficient. It's several years now and I'm still amazed at the difference.

I have used this post office more than the one in my home state. I have been served well with priory mailing and delivery.They show you the tracking code for deliverery and it arrivee to me and to my gran in 3 days. I just love our postal system.

Female carrier with brown hair ALWAYS throws my packages at the door or over the fence. Both which are easy to open small fence or go up 4 steps. I was sitting in my living room and thought something came crashing down at my door on my patio. when I went to look of course it was my package with something delicate as she just chucked it with force at my door and watched her get back in the mail truck. She seems very rude and it’s uncalled for and I’m getting increasingly fed up.

Attempted to track a package internally that got lost. Unfortunately, they said they could not and they don't have any information they could provide. Sad this is the level of 'help' from the post office. If something doesn't get delivered, you're pretty much stuck. Oh well package. And the person who answered the phone was rude and hurried to end the call.
