One of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had.
From start to finish, this company demonstrated poor customer service, constant upselling tactics, and a shocking lack of professionalism — including providing cars with expired registration and inspection.
I rented a car through my insurance provider and called the rental location two days ahead of time to confirm the pickup and coverage details. When I arrived, I was told that none of the vehicles covered under my policy (economy, compact, or midsize) were available. Instead, they only had higher-tier cars that would cost me extra. After a lengthy back-and-forth, a midsize vehicle suddenly became available — suspicious, to say the least.
After completing the paperwork, I was shown the car, only to find out its registration was set to expire in three days. When I brought this up, I was given two unacceptable options:
1. Return the car in two days to exchange it, or
2. Take it to get inspected myself.
Frustrated and surprised by the complete lack of accountability, I asked for the next available car and agreed to pay the difference just to be done with it. They gave me a Honda Accord that smelled inside, was in rough shape, and — unbelievably — had an inspection that had expired a month earlier.
By then, I had already wasted over an hour and needed a vehicle, so I took it. Still, I find it incredibly dangerous and irresponsible that a company would knowingly offer cars with expired registration or inspection.
I’ve rented vehicles for years from many different companies and have never encountered such unprofessional behavior or blatant disregard for customer safety. I won’t be returning — and strongly suggest others think twice.

I just returned my vehicle and I wanted to take the time to write a review praising the staff at the Floral Park branch. Vic, Anthony, Mateo, Karl and Antonio were all very friendly and helpful through the whole process. Explained everything thoroughly and made for a stress free experience. 👍🏼👍🏼

Every staff member here is beyond rude and unprofessional. I had a reservation and arrived a half hour early. The guy made a comment like, 'Why are you even showing up early?' When I got to the location, I realized I left my driver's license at home. I told the man I would be back when I went home. I called the Enterprise location back and told him I'm 15 minutes away, and I'll be there soon. They said, 'OK, no problem.' The car was still here. Two minutes later, I got a callback from the same location telling me that they already gave my reservation car to another client because they didn't hear back from me. I said, 'I just got off the phone with you. How would you give my reservation away?' No one called me to confirm if I was canceling. No one called to check on me to see if I found my driver's license. There's no communication. The person here was beyond rude. I was treated with the utmost disrespect. At this location, clearly the gentleman said that he doesn't give 2 FF about my situation and doesn't care. I would stay away from this location. I don't care if this is the last Enterprise in New York; they need a customer service class.

I was in an accident and was somewhat depressed of the outcome. However, my insurance covered a rental car, so I decided to go to this enterprise since it was the closest one to the Noble auto body shop LLC where I left my car. At first walk in the employees looked busy. I was next in line. One of the employees stated they will get to me and left to the back. However, shortly after another employee by the name of Victor Taveras came straight away to greet me and assist with my needs. Even though my insurance company sent the rental reservation to a different enterprise, Victor was able to accommodate and find me a vehicle. He wasn't pushy nor was he trying to forcefully sell me any packages they offered. He was very informative and gave me the option to chose the best outcome for me. All in all, I experienced great customer service from Victor and would go to this enterprise again.

Awful stay away from this place. My company no longer rents from this location. A mid size suv in enterprise standard is a prius. What you find and book online was always different then what my clients picked up. A nissan Rouge is a full size truck to enterprise.

They usually have a fair selection of vehicles for a suburban location, and are business savvy to call in advance and confirm bookings.
But there are significant downsides. In practically every visit. Like, go for an SUV and get a smaller - mini SUV - allotted; even though right sized vehicles are in the lot - 'they're reserved'. Vehicles do not seem to be washed/cleaned between rentals. Gas tank is rarely full at pickup ('Yes, we know. You can return at 3/8 tank, too'?) which has been a consternation.
In the last rental, tire treads were near flat; when we pointed this out, they got a supposed tread measure, perfunctorily went around all tires, said rear ones were better (quite an oblique way of admitting front tires were worn out), and would last 'couple of months more'. And we thought, life of anything in rental cars was measured in miles, not months.
But we always get pointed here, because of tie-ups.

Melissa helped me to pick up a rental since my car was in repair and she was friendly and professional. The experience was fast and I was able to hit the road before I knew it to get to work! Returning the car was just as easy with Eddie's help! I wish everything in life could be this simple!

I've rented from here several times and every time, there was 1/4 tank of gas in the car. Sometimes a little bit less. Within 20 miles of driving , I have to start looking for a gas station. The car was very dirty outside but cleaner inside. Also there was a billing issue which was brought to their attention. And as of two weeks later, it was still not corrected. Gonna call back to see why.

This is easily the best Enterprise I’ve been to. Everyone here was kind, accommodating and professional. I went to pick up a car on a busy holiday weekend so their inventory was limited. The only option was a car I really didn’t want to drive for over a week. They went above and beyond to get me an alternative car that was still covered by my insurance from another location. Drop-off was equally seamless. Absolutely flawless customer service. I’ll recommend these guys any day without hesitation.
