The Al Oerter Recreation Center offers a range of amenities and activities for the local community. The facility is free for those under 24 years old, but the timetable can be inconsistent, with only teenagers allowed to enter every Saturday. While the equipment is comparable to private gyms, some machines may be out of service. The center features a track and field upstairs, basketball courts, and multi-purpose rooms for activities like volleyball and badminton. There is also a full gym on both sides of the facility, available to those over 16, and students can apply for a free membership. The center hosts events, so visitors are advised to call ahead to check if it's open. Overall, the recreation center provides a valuable resource for the community, with free classes like Zumba and step, as well as affordable access to fitness facilities.
I've been going to this gym for more than three years, and overall it's been a great experience. The place is clean, well ventilated, and the staff are friendly. My only complaint is that there aren't enough bench presses and squat racks, so people often end up waiting more than 20 minutes for a turn.

This center is a very good deal for those with broad based fitness activities if you live locally . It can be a little bit tough to park here at certain times in certain days but the place is clean ,well kept, and very reasonably priced . People are welcome to visit and check it out and I encourage everyone to do so.

The some of the staff members are nice, others are so rude. The activities itself are nice and enjoyable, it’s just the staff. Other than that, the place is a great place to visit and spend time with your family or exercise.
