To the owner(s) Flushing location Lacked employees. Lacked customer service. Lacked people who wanted to actually do the job. Bad management.
I wanted to purchase an item that was not on the floor and was told I can only order it online and then pick it up which wasn't true. The item can be sold in store and pay with cash. The fake sales person just wanted to be shady.
Another incident they had an item in stock the sales guy reluctantly went to get it and never came back.He took an extended break in the stock room. Must be nice.
Now, they are closed temporarily.
It's Management's fault because they don't care to train people properly or hire the right people for the job they're just hiring people just to fill a spot they don't care if that person does a good job or not they could care less they're just there to pick up a paycheck and that's all. For example you can walk into this BB nobody greets you nobody says can I help you. You have to look around for someone to assist you and that takes forever because they're trying to hide and pretend like they're busy with something else they are antisocial they don't want to be there you can see it. Management does nothing in fact management sets the tone for the sales associates to follow and they do that brilliantly... nothing.
Why hire people that lack basic social skills? That's anti-productive isn't it? When you interview these people do you ask them what their work history is and if it's related to sales and customer service?
Obviously not because 90% of them don't want to help anyone. Low moral and lack of incentives. The sales team spend more time talking to each other than helping anyone.
Me and my business of several hundred people I know now go to the competitors and get all of what we want somewhere else.
The sales at BB will go down drastically due to management. So the owner of Best Buy needs to get rid of all the bad management all the bad salespeople and start fresh only hire people that actually shows that they can actually do the job and actually do it. Monitor what they're doing evaluate them constantly to see if they're up to par if not you've got the wrong people and the fact that you don't realize this says a lot about you. I will never shop at this BB ever again if it reopens.
Zero stars for the sales people.
Zero stars for the management.
Zero stars for honesty.
Zero stars for the location.

This one particular Best Buy is closing as of February 1 but there was nothing posted to advise us before we drove through the crowded mess of downtown Flushing and paying $6 for parking. There was basically no inventory and could only help with online ordering. Not a way to do business. I normally rate Best Buy between 3 and 5 depending on experience at particular location. Great source for Televisions and other electronics.

The manager was a horrible person and wasted 2 hours of my time. It's no wonder the store is closing. I was a customer 27 years and treated like garbage

Listed a TV as in stock and ready for pickup today. Placed order and waited several hours for them to send me an email saying unavailable at the store. Wasted my time. Best buy has been so unreliable with TV deliveries so I chose in store pickup and they can’t even get that right. Failing company that will get acquired by Amazon in the future.

Had an item delivered from this location. The "Roadie" delivery service was horrible. From the time the item was picked up from the store until it was delivered, was about 7 hours. The delivery person left the item outside the door. The box looked like it was dropped several times. It was ripped, taped up and one end was crushed. We're not even going to open it, it will be returned.

It's not as it seems. There are no great offers. Everything is normal. The store's policy should be reconsidered. Everything can be bought online at better prices. Most of the workers are good. Some are overly careful. Overall, it's an average experience.

Not what it use to be, sometimes I can't find assistance from anyone so I shop at PC Richard. I get tired of waiting. I miss the old best Buys. Also unless you buy total protection plan and go for the lesser for a single purchase they will give you a song and dance when a simple repair is needed. I'm really reluctant to spend a lot there these days.
