I had a great experience at this Citibank branch. Kitty So was extremely helpful, professional, and patient in assisting me with my banking needs. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of smoothly. Highly recommend this branch and their excellent customer service. However for those who left negative reviews, perhaps reconsider your own attitude before judging the staff here.

The service provided by this bank has been extremely disappointing. After losing my card, I was unable to close my account at the branch, where I received no assistance. When I contacted the headquarters, I was informed that account closure can only be processed at the branch. The entire experience has been frustrating, with significant time spent navigating between the branch and headquarters, with no resolution. This lack of coordination and inefficiency is unacceptable

I spoke with Cibele Pyun on November 20th to open up a new savings account. When we first spoke she showed me the December and Lunar New Year promotions and quickly whispered to me that I qualify for both and she'd set me up. I was happy speaking with her, but somehow this 30-minute interaction rolled over to 2 hours and in that time she closed my first savings account (I had told I want to merge them after the 3 month period, not close it) and cancelled my CD for a new one (even when I was making more of a loss with the cancellation fee). At the end, I asked her about the promotions and when would they apply, and she acted confused and said I have to make another account in December if I wanted them. This left a sour taste because she used these promotions to influence me into making these accounts and now saying I have to come back 10 days later to open the same account.
I'd accept this and just move on, but later got calls from Cibele on how I could make an account in March to qualify and whatnot. Today, when I emailed her to just send me the promotion pdfs so I can review the terms and conditions she instead calls me constantly to say I only came in for a CD. This banker is the pinnacle of gaslighting. I would've happily worked with her in the future, but instead of serving clients, she's just serving herself. I've tried emailing her to confirm details, but she instead chooses to call and says one thing, but then disregards it later. Be cautious of who you choose to bank with.

The service provided by the counter staff at the Main Street branch was polite, cold, and unkind, which made people feel very uncomfortable!
Unfortunately, there is no negative rating setting!

Went to the branch this morning to notarize an invitation letter for family members to come to the states and ms Kitty So told me that they don’t do that kind of letters…hers words go to the farmacy on the corner !!! you are just a witness to establish the authenticity of my persona and my signature nothing else …so mad

What is the point of making an appointment if they don’t honor that at all. I made an appointment to close my Citibank account due to the fact that I keep around 30 K in the account, but I still can’t be in the tier where I have no monthly fees. Aka they only cater to the super rich. I was really frustrated and wanted to close my account. I booked an appointment on the citi app to see Grace Chan. Upon arrival at the bank there was no place to check in for the appointment and you just had to wait with the mob sitting together behind the greeter ladies on the first floor. I waited 10 minutes until my appointment time to walk up to Grace tell her that it’s my appointment time, can I be seen?and she said oh what’s it for when I said close my account her attitude instantaneously changed and said oh I can’t handle that. You have to go to the second floor. She was extremely rude unhelpful and was just like downright messed up because she was too busy working with people who didn’t have an appointment. The Customer service aspect at this bank really needs to have improvement.

It's a rubbish place. I waited for an hour to open an account. There was an old man scolding the staff in the middle. I won't come here again. I plan to close the account.
