I had my road test with Examiner 582 (White, short curly hair girl). A professional and chill person (AS HOW IT SHOULD BE). God Bless this girl. Didn't get a chance to thank her, but if she does read this review (Thank You!).Unlike the fat black racist woman (Examiner 484) over at the Laurelton Road Test Site, this examiner was accurate. Examiner 484 docked me 25 points for not coming to a complete stop 1/2 a block ahead before a jay walker. Examiner 582 docked me 10 points for stopping 1/2 a block before a jay walker. She said, you only need to slow down. And that makes sense. And examiner 484 threw the road test results paper's website at my face as she exited the vehicle. Examiner 582 was respectful as she exited the vehicle.Once again, thank you Examiner 582 and God Bless you!

I had a good experience with Examiner 582 (brown short curly hair). She was professional and patient, which made me feel at ease. I was able to pass since she was actually fair in her evaluation, unlike the previous 2 nightmare fuel examiners I had. Thank you examiner 582.

Preferred this location to Kissena Park as roads are wider. Also depends on your examiner day of test. But still liked this one to do the test

I took the road test here on December 1 and failed. Examiner 699, an Asian guy, acted like a drill sergeant. When I said good morning, he didn't respond. He had a nasty attitude even before he got in the car. Before I pulled off, I twisted my body and looked to see if a car was coming. When I saw that it was clear, I pulled off. He yelled that I didn't look at my blind spot since I didn't look over my shoulder. A minute later, he asked me to make a right turn onto a narrow, two way street. There was a car parked near the intersection on the right side of the street that I was turning onto. Rather than risk side swiping that car, I made a slightly wide turn. There was no traffic coming the other way. He then started yelling. I received 15 points for poor steering control. When I went to parallel park, the right back tire barely tapped the curb. I could've easily drove the car forward into the correct position. Instead, I received an automatic fail for driving over the curb. I received a total of 75 points.A week later, I took the road test in Laurelton and passed with only 5 points.

I passed my road test in first attempt.Examiner lady 541 was so good and we can drive more confidently with her. It took me 7 minutes to finish and areas was not so crowd that you can pass here easily.

Excessive points taken for observation. Ride was no more than 5 minutes and 55 points taken for 2 observation mistakes and 1 parking mistake warranting 5 points. In no world should 2 observation mistakes equal 50 points taken off. Pretty sure only 10 points should have been taken for an observation mistake. Might as well leave the test and try again next time if ur sensing a bad mood from your proctor. DMV sucks as usual.

Honestly, this is the most difficult site to take the road test. But surprisingly, I passed my Road Test in this location. when I took the road test here. I only made some few little errors which got me 5 points off for this road test. My Examiner ID was #541. She was super soft and chill easygoing. I would say, be super confident and fearless. It’s all about luck Depending on how empty the road is. Make sure you look everywhere When you’re driving and know the rules of taking action in sight. I took my first road test in Jamaica van wyck site 2 weeks before I took my second road test in Fresh Meadows. This was my second tries to take this test in Fresh Meadows and I eventually passed it on my second tries here in fresh meadows. It was on Friday April 28 2023 at 3:30pm evening. Overall I would say it’s a very complicated location to take the road test here. but however, I surprisingly managed to pass this test with few points taken away and it was my second try for the road test but first time in this location. I took my first road test in other place. Not here.

This place is legit so hard to pass. Like each tester scores completely differently. What one tester doesn't care about, another will excessively take off points for.I took the test here 3 TIMES!!! My second tester took off over 30 points just for observation alone. Like entirely excessive. He took off just enough points to fail me and my observation wasn't even that bad, and i nailed everything else. My third tester had a problem with my turning speed which hadn't happened before. See what I mean? Certain testers just take off points that others don't. The scoring is so random, it's just based on how nice a tester is.Some teachers purposely choose harder roads to test you on and trip you up which is so unfair and unequal. Also, if they pass you is based on their mood that day which is so unprofessional. Plus the roads are also hard like everyone said. Turning at certain intersections is so difficult because of the parked cars to where you cant see the cars coming by left or right till it's too late. Luckily I passed, but I nearly kept turning until I stopped because I suddenly saw a car driving in front of me last minute.

09/10/23 Update: Took my second road test on Friday. I saw the same examiner 422 again and he seemed like he was in a bad mood today because he was yelling at the cars waiting for the road test to pull up closer to the sign. Could've asked everyone nicely to pull up instead of screaming and yelling at everyone. When he got into the car in front of me, he failed a student in 2 minutes right when she made a right. Thank god I got someone else instead of him for my road test and I passed!***There's a brown colored examiner asking for female students' phone numbers after the road test by the way, DMV should look into this. This is unprofessional and inappropriate.***08/22 Review: I agree with A L. I also got the White male examiner with a mask and a braided hairstyle (examiner ID 422). I got excessive points taken off for mistakes that I never made. Seemed like he was in a bad mood even though I greeted him before the exam and my coach did after the exam but he just choose to ignore us at both instances and walk away - guess he's just plain out rude. He also took me to a dead end towards the end of the exam and I realized that it was a trap so I told him that it's a dead end and asked if should I make a left or a right and then he only responded afterwards. Even my coach and my family thought that it was insane cuz they know how I drive normally. The one star was that I was able to see my results at 2PM when my road test is 11AM which is very atypical. Better off getting tested at another site LOL...

Many of the two-way streets here are very narrow, and both sides are lined with parked cars. Under such conditions, it's challenging to turn directly into the right lane. Even if you adjust afterward, the examiners here will deduct points. The scoring seems quite unreasonable. My overall driving was fine, but a male examiner with a braided hairstyle and mask deducted an excessive amount of points. Some of the deductions seemed completely arbitrary. One good thing is that examiner would give you some feedback in a calm and polite way during the test while some of the examiners may only yell at the students and show arrogant and impatient attitude. However, even he looks peaceful, he will still deduct lots of points from you afterwards.

Had a similar experience to what seems like everyone else in these reviews. Took a drive around with my teacher not even 5 minutes before I took the test, and was told I had everything I needed to pass, that it was easy.I then received this extremely rude instructor who was giving me directions on what to do the entire test, telling me to speed up constantly like he was in a rush for the next person to take. I made one slip-up at the end when crossing the intersection, and he considered it such a travesty that he deducted 55 POINTS from my test. Fifty-five. In no world should that have been that serious. Of course, it was a mistake, but this area in general is so bad for taking the test due to the amount of crowding, and the parking lanes being so filled that you can’t see anything on the road. This area’s a guaranteed fail unless you get a nice instructor, it seems like I was unlucky though and got someone that absolutely hated his job that day.

Absolutely worse spot for road test. I took my friend for a motorcycle road test. I was following behind with the DMV agents. My friend didn't do anything wrong everything was perfect, yet they failed him and cited errors that never occurred. They are corrupt and need to be investigated by the DMV and state. They probably take bribes to pass people. DO NOT schedule your test here you have been warned.
