Dr. Terry Perkins is a wonderful and amazing VET. She is caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and truthful. Will always recommend what is best for your pet. I am a TNR and she has done a fantastic job with my neighborhood cats. Her office assistant Leeany has ALWAYS been very patient and helpful when I call the office. Thanks to all in the Murray office for all your kind and dedicated commitment for providing the best veterinary services!!!

Probably the best vet I've been to. Dr Perkins really cares about the animals. I wouldn't go to anyone else at this point.

Unfortunately, you have officially lost a client today. I have been desperately trying to call the office to have a conversation with Dr. Perkins only to hear a voice-mail multiple times then decided to call Dr. Perkins main office and explain to them that at my last visit with them, Dr. Perkins talked with me about getting both of my kitties neutered she offered me to charge $80-100 per neutering cause she knew my mother was a loyal client with multiple of cats and because I am in financial situation because I'm in college. However, I called front desk to speak with her about it since it's been some time (about a few weeks) and they absolutely declined to allow me to speak to the doctor and lied to my face telling me that the 80 was blood work but when I visited the doctor it was for the blood work already and it came out to 200 per cat. So they have lied to my face and refused me to have a conversation with the doctor. I don't know how Dr. Perkins picks her employees but each and everytime I visit both locations I am met with rude manners and leaving feeling as if i was disrespected and not heard at all. I stayed because I love Dr. Perkins and her kindness and affection for my pets and all pets but enough is enough. I'm done. I'm sick and tired of her staff and their utter rudeness time and time again.

This Vet location came highly recommended from a friend I meet every morning in my local dog park.Doctor helped my dog when he had a cheek rash. I had to put a cone around my dog while administering antibiotic meds.On the last follow up visit he did not charge me for the follow up. Five stars!

5 star rating based on care of our pets. Our big one is a 140 lb. Mastiff. We have been regulars for over 10 years. Dr. Perkins has been great all these years. Her fees are reasonable.

I’ve heard the doctor is nice. But they are lacking in many things. Read below- they rarely answer the phone- they said the lab result will be out on Monday, which never did. I had to call them again to find out what happened.- they give wrong date. Lab result still not out yet, but they said they’ll call today. (Which they never did) Not professional. If you think it’s gon take more time, then just say so, instead of giving wrong date. I had to wait for the call the whole day and never heard anything back. Very frustrating.- when I visited there, the staff kept saying “your cat is not happy here.” I understand that my cat can be very sensitive (& OF COURSE SHE IS MORE SENSITIVE DUE TO THE PAIN) and it is your job to handle sensitive cats… like what do you want me to do? Apologize to you for having a sensitive cat?I used to go to the one in bayside. Because I recently moved, I decided to go here….I never had to go through this kinda behavior before.VERY FRUSTRATING. If you need urgent care for your cat, this place is definitely not it. Go somewhere else…

Five stars is not enough to rate this Vet. She has been our Vet for many years. We are lucky to have her. She is the most caring, compassionate, and dedicated person who cares about our furry family members.

Dr. Perkins is the most sincere vet in the world. She loves animals and you can tell she cares about your pet as much as you do. I'm from Sunnyside and it's a little out of the way for me but it's worth it every time. They do have different hours now. They're usually open after 4:30pm so make sure you call them to make an appointment after that time.

The vet told us to pick up the medicine at 5pm-7pm but didn't have it ready by that time. When we arrived, they didn't even know the name of the medication we're supposed to receive. That's very unorganized.30 minutes later some Asian male vet came and asked us "what do you want" with a smug look on his face. How unprofessional. And he didn't even help us, he just left right after dropping off the vet from his car.We finally received the medication after 45 minutes of waiting. I would not recommend this place to anybody. What if I have a dying animal in my hands? Are they just going to tell me to wait an hour before they get to me? What a joke

We waited over 40 minutes just to pick up medicine that had already been prescribed. The assistant who was there didn't seem to know what she was doing. She took 30 minutes just to look for the medicine (which was in the fridge) and then made us wait for the vet to arrive just to confirm that it was the correct medicine because apparently they don't have the names of prescribed medicines on file there. And furthermore, we had to wait even longer just to finish the transaction and have a card returned. After we had to wait for the vet to arrive, a man who seemed to be another assistant was with her and literally asked my friend "what do you want" because the first assistant made him wait outside the entire time. His tone was very rude, but other than that, who asks a person standing outside a vet's office "what do you want"? Shouldn't the answer be obvious? If one of our pets had just passed away, what would he have done then after asking that? He didn't even provide my help to us, so I don't know why he bothered to ask anything.
