I’m just wondering if Home Depot are under paying their staffs cause all the workers me and my family had encounter are either mute or carrying an attitude. No one was willing to help. We wanted to get something that was a little high above the ground and needed a hand. My cousin went to ask an employee they directed her to someone else. Then that employee directed her back to the first employee that she had asked. He said “I don’t have a license to get that for you. But I’m willing to help you” Then we went to pay for our things. And the cashier decided that she didn’t want to talk to us. Maybe she’s having a bad day or that she’s under paid. Or maybe because of racial discrimination? We asked her questions she was just shaking her head and Jacqueline just pushed the screen at us and told us to look. Are cashiers not allowed to talk? I for one thought she was a mute but we had asked a question repeatedly and when we couldn’t understand why she was shaking her head she said NO. Cashiers interact with customers the most. If she has an attitude like that then she should be in the back stocking goods or something. I came here to shop for goods and not to receive attitudes like this. Home Depot needs to train their employees to act nice

It was my first time to visit this HD store. I asked a cashier to see if she can find someone to open a cabinet, and I went back to that aisle and waited for around 10 mins but no one came. so I have to go back to checkout section and asked again. It turns out the cashier is able to come with me and open it for me.
When I was about to check out, I had the questions if my tax exemption code is applicable and how much it is. The cashier (not previous one) just turned the screen to me and informed me to take a look myself. I asked why the price showing inside cabinet is $10 less. The cashier informed me to check the price on the screen again. From the very beginning till the end, I didn’t hear a single word from that cashier. Horrible customer services.

I was able to find the miscellaneous hardware I needed for a a fence repair.
Then try to checkout. ALL self checkouts were closed the line was at least 15 people deep.
TWO cashiers, the line was so slow, everyone was getting impatient.
This Home Depot at College Point is the worst for customer checkout ever.
Go to local hardware store and save yourself time and aggravation.

Been coming here 10 years since my work is close by. I was trying to buy a few DeWalt power tools worth a few hundred bucks. The tools were locked in a cage and none of the employees had the key and no one would page the person that did. Other stores have little paging bells to request assistance, not sure why a huge store like Home Depot doesn't. Anyhow when someone did finally arrive 20 minutes after I walked in, my products were brought to a register and I was told I had to wait in a line that reached past the lumber department. Kind of absurd I couldn't use self checkout to pay for my items and was told with an attitude I had to wait in a long line to pay for two items. I left them there and purchased from Amazon instead.

They need more staffing in this store. It took almost 20 minutes to get someone to help bring something down from a high shelf.

You got the white out for the customer service because when you tried calling the customer service not always their polite or they won't tell you the price they'll give you a bunch of and ask you have to come in to check it out yourself depends who you speak to if they're very disrespectful get the manager and really depends on what department they work for

When you buy wooden boards here, they don't cut them into the required size. You have to cut them yourself. The employees here claim that their managers won't allow them to cut them. Home depots across the country have such a service, but they don't have it here.

I have never been to this location before but it was near my job and I needed to make a quick run and I wasn't disappointed. I left the review on another Home Depot that's at another location and my opinion is the same that all of these stores are pretty much all similar. What makes a difference is just how more organized it may be or the employees and their customer service aspect. Some are just friendlier than others. This one was fine. No complaints.
