The hotel is in Flushing, in the middle of Queens' Chinatown. Beautiful, spacious and comfortable room and bathroom. The breakfast is weak and the free transfer to and from LGA airport only comes if the passenger calls the hotel to request it, which complicates the logistics on arrival, especially for foreign travelers.

Free shuttle from LGA to hotel. Free breakfast. Can’t ask for more for its location and convenience other than that is standard affordable hotel

For the parking lot. Easy to get to LGA from it.

The level of incompetence during my 5 nights stay was astounding.A friendly man named Sheikh checked me in. He reassured me with misinformation over the phone before booking a flight to NYC. The next day, a young lady explains that Sheikh is "just a driver who helps us". Why was a driver allowed to take calls and work behind the desk? She also confidently states the room deposit is not a hold, but a daily charge on my credit card. The parking garage is around the corner with LAZ valet for $32+tax/night for a sedan. I accepted Hyatt's offer to have this charged to my room for a single invoice. The next day, I see multiple charges from both LAZ and Hyatt. They do not know how to offer a solution on a holding deposit versus posted deposit, and incorrect nights of parking charges. If you're lucky, Ernie is the supervisor who will correct all of their mistakes with receipts showing credits, but severely lacks softskills. Ernie needs a properly trained team, to have any energy left for hospitality etiquette. The icing on the cake was checking out at 6:30AM, and Josh at the front desk confirms "yes there is an hourly shuttle to LGA.. No, there is no shuttle today.. Yes, 7AM is hourly.. There is no driver for 7AM". What was the point of following their procedure of calling ahead and waiting in the lobby 10min early? Better yet, where's Sheikh now? Josh got 1 cab for me and 3 other guests to share. If you enjoy being misled and disputing charges with a confident team of negligence who never apologizes, book your stay with Hyatt Place in Flushing. At least you can enjoy desserts from Spot or chicken from The Coop to fuel yourself when it's your time to work unpaid as a hotelier accountant.Noteworthy details: Keep a close eye on your finances DURING your stay. It is quicker to have the Hyatt correct your estimate and avoid further delays and frustration upon receiving the final invoice. Request a copy of the corrected estimate, by email and hardcopy.

The worst human service ever. The people working there as well as the people who help booking over the phone are either lacking in language ability or having hard time doing their job. I specifically asked for one simple request which was to check-in early due to the early arrival in the city for business purpose. However, not only the receptionist couldn't find anything on the system with early check-in request, he disrespectively said to leave the premises and comeback by 3pm. The inflexibilities of those people working at such place called Hyatt is just not right. Never go hyatt in Flushing. There are many other hotels you can stay.

Really nice, clean rooms. Exceptionally great staff. Close to LGA with free shuttle. Short walk to the train into the city. Above average breakfast for a hotel in this class.

A great stay at this Hyatt Place! The rooms were so so clean and quiet, and the location was great. 7 train is around the corner, 35 min away from manhattan. Plus, there were so many great restaurants within a few hundred feet. No sterile midtown hotel vibe here.

Had major parking issues being charged for 6 nights when I told the valet it is just for one night. The gentleman did not understand and left tag inside the car. Spent close to an hour going back n forth with the valet and hotel trying to resolve. The hotel front desk had no empathy, and seemed annoyed. I asked for 2 bottles of water thinking it was a hospitable thing to do. Declined and said she has to charge. Didnt fuss and left, but last time I am staying at this hotel. Worst front desk staff. Some were excellent, but most were terrible.

The location is very good, but the hotel requires premium membership to give away free bottled water. Ordinary membership is of no use at all. I don't understand what the meaning of membership is?
