I travel from the North East Bronx to Flushing, where I previously lived for 9 years; to purchase their exclusive teas and other products. Very courteous staff.

It has been my go to place for Chinese medicine for years…the owners are very honest (as some of the reviews mentioned) and the prices indeed go up (but it is because of the higher demand).

I came here with my mom because we were told they have a good selection of dried preserved fruit. What I found is a no frills type of Chinese place. While it is true that most Chinese places are like this, the lady who came out to bag the dried fruit for us was not kind at all. In fact, she got annoyed with all the questions my mom had. She even said it is very simple, tell me how much you want, and I will put it in the bag. Obviously this lady did not want to chit chat or humor us at all.

The fat ladies that work behind the counters have a very condescending attitude. Does not know what is courteous customer service. But this kind of attitude is common among Asian store. Please take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of options and competition in Flushing.

I love this place to get frozen "Jung" or "Joong". The sticky rice in banana leaf with peanuts and fatty meat. They also sell the green mung bean one. They are $3.50 for one as of Jan 2021. The workers are nice helpful.

They are open but wont allow people to go in which is understandable due to the pandemic. However when I mentioned that prices are almost double to pre pandemic she said condescendly that I could come back when everything is back to normal. This was during the peak of the pandemic at the beginning of April. There are quite a few herbal place that are opened already. Please take your business elsewhere. They are clearly taking advantage instead of helping the chinese community during a very difficult time.

(Translated by Google) This Chinese medicine is the best Chinese medicine I have ever seen in New York. The price is fair, the quality is good, the boss is very patient! I give 10 stars.

As Flushing landscape continues to change and businesses constantly evolve, one of the few places who have remained an old reliable for me has been Kor Wor Tong. Their selection of dried fruits / candies have been a better post dinner snack than most of the lackluster dessert places in the hood.

As Flushing landscape continues to change and businesses constantly evolve, one of the few places who have remained an old reliable for me has been Kor Wor Tong. Their selection of dried fruits / candies have been a better post dinner snack than most of the lackluster dessert places in the hood. Nestled along Roosevelt between Prince and Main, it is a little space that often gets lost in the jungle of noodle shops, vitamin stores, salons, and bakeries. If you're not looking for it, it's way too easy place to miss. Once inside, it's all Chinese from there. I have neither seen any of the ladies who work here speak English nor any English signs to indicate what kinds of dried goods are what. Even though I have no idea how good their English is, it also never hurts to be with a Mando / Canto speaker either. I've purchased my fair share of tea leaves here, in addition to the occasional sack of dried plums. Prices are never an issue and it seems their selection is getting better. But I can't stay in here too long during summertime. Something about the absence of an air conditioner with the smells from all of the "herbs" in here make for a unbearably good time.
