No lies here about terrible customer service. Techs lack confidence with messages they’re relaying. Can’t even explain supposed insurance rejections to the customer. Have to go back and forth with them to have them process medication that I have verified with my insurance that it’s covered. My representative even called them to make sure they’re billing my medication correctly and they were told to call back AFTER the pharmacy is closed. A pharmacist was supposed to call me back and yet to have done so. For my first time experience, This is terrible. Never again.

I was on my way to CVS to get some prescriptions filled after dental surgery, when I passed by Levin's and noticed that they take my insurance. I went in, and was delighted by the service. The pharmacist noted an ambiguity in one of the scripts, and when she couldn't reach the dentist immediately, she offered to have it delivered to my apartment, since I was obviously in a lot of pain. My prescriptions were filled quickly, professionally and with the personal warmth absent in those large chain pharmacies.

I went in here once and thought it was a nice mom and pops pharmacy with very nice staff and thought it would be a great way to support neighborhood businesses. Then I was standing on a grocery line in a deli a block away and the older lady who works there cuts me in line, insisting she had been there before me. Putting her stuff on the counter (decorative pumpkins), walking away off the line to do more shopping for cheese and other foods, returning to the line and not wanting to even wait for one customer--and demanding " I was on line" and absolutely not understanding the logic that putting down your stuff and wandering around to shop doesn't privilege her to cut people on lines once she finishes her leisurely browsing. I ran into her as she left and walked towards the pharmacy and she disagreed that "stay on the line' is part of the rules of "being on a line." She was rude. Not following rules go beyond the shop and the people who work nearby expect special privileges when they frequent neighborhood shops was a fail. I'll just go to CVS where the staff doesn't cut people on line and doesn't permit line butting.

Very nice family owned and operated pharmacy on the Rego Park/FoHi border. While the front store is small, the pharmacy does quite a lot of business. The cashier, Angel is very nice and helpful. She speaks both Russian and American. The pharmacist, Slava is friendly and helpful and will work with you to find the best (and sometimes least expensive) medication to treat your ailment.
