Very bad experience! Some of the salesgirls at Dior look at people and serve them differently. I went there to find a salesgirl to help me get the color number, but I saw two of them serving one customer because the customer bought a lot of things. I would rather buy from the official website than go to their counter.

On the afternoon of 3/14/25, I went to Macy's on Roosevelt Ave in Flushing to buy a Coach bag. When I picked up the bag I liked to check it out, the Asian ladies at the makeup and skin care counters around the Coach counter suddenly stood in front of me and laughed at me about Coach bags for no apparent reason. Then a lady at the counter suddenly walked up to me, picked up another bag next to the bag I was checking out, and hung it on her shoulder. She laughed loudly and asked the ladies at the counter who were cheering with her if it looked good on me. Then she said arrogantly and mockingly that if it was me buying the bag, I would choose another brand. Then they laughed loudly again. I was confused and embarrassed. to make purchases. The waitress at the coach counter didn't understand Chinese at the time, and she didn't know that the counter ladies around her were slandering the brand. I still felt very uncomfortable afterwards. I felt that I seemed to be discriminated against by these counter ladies. I wanted to buy a coach bag at Macy’s on Ave. When I picked up the bag I liked and checked it out, the Asian ladies who were leaning against the makeup cabinets and skin care cabinets around the Coach counter suddenly, for no reason, laughed at me and talked about the coach bag next to me. Then a counter lady suddenly walked up to me and picked up another bag next to the bag I was looking at and hung it on her. On her shoulder, she laughed loudly and asked the counter girls who were booing with her if I looked good on my back. Then she said arrogantly and mockingly that if I were to buy a bag, I would choose another brand. Then they laughed loudly. I was puzzled and embarrassed at the time. When I entered Macy’s, I didn’t even talk to any of the service people. I just picked up the bag I liked and checked it out as soon as I walked in. Why did they talk in such weird ways! At that time, I left the coach counter in anger and went to other counters to make purchases. The waiter at the coach counter could not understand Chinese at the time, and she did not know that the counter ladies around her were slandering this brand. I still felt very uncomfortable afterwards. I felt that I was being discriminated against by these counter ladies. And they also discriminated against my favorite brand. Does Macy's need such quality employees to serve the public?

One Star - Never Again
I purchased a $5,000 Gucci watch from Macy’s, and the experience was beyond disappointing. First, the watch didn’t fit, so I had to go out of my way to get it adjusted—not a big deal. But when I got home, I realized the watch didn’t even work because the battery was dead.
When I returned to Macy’s to get it fixed, I was told I had to pay for the battery replacement myself. Seriously? After spending thousands on a luxury watch, I expected it to at least function out of the box. Macy’s clearly doesn’t stand behind the products they sell, and their customer service is completely lacking.
This experience has made me rethink ever making a major purchase here again. Even having a Platinum Card means nothing to them. Poor quality control, poor service, and a complete waste of time.
I just wanted Customer Service to simply tell me to take the watch to a Macy’s store and have the battery replaced so this expensive purchase would feel worthwhile. But no—they expect me to accept a dead watch and go out of my way to find someone else to replace the battery. Never again. I’m beyond frustrated; this is completely unreasonable.

I dunno why I always get followed and stopped and asked if I need help every 2 minutes. Very weird. If you just let customers browse and give them some space you’d make more commission sales. I bought purchases here when I’m left alone.

The saleswomen from the make up area are so rude. They do not know nothing about customer services. I was buying Dior make up and they had disrespecful attitude.

I am incredibly disappointed with my recent experience at Macys in Flushing. My sister and I recently stopped by this Macys in search of shapewear for an upcoming event. Not only was the store incredibly challenging to navigate with multiple stairs often leading to the same department, a non-functional escalator, an elevator with multiple safety hazards (there was a broken clothing rack in it) located in the backroom alley of the store, what made our experience even more distressing was being racially profiled by a Macys employee while browsing in the women’s undergarments section. This employee made it a point to non-discreetly scan the area we were at, walk around the racks with nothing to do, and it wasn’t until we walked away to get a price check that she left to speak to a customer waiting around for help. The only bright spot was the store clerk named Matt who helped us navigate the store at the start of our visit, but otherwise the overall experience was trash. This store appears to have its priorities in the wrong place: from the non-user friendly layout to the unwelcoming staff and an on-going issue with unhoused people setting camp at the storefront—this Macys possess an atmosphere more preoccupied with guarding its merchandise than welcoming a sale. I don’t recommend anyone shop here.

About 10 days ago, I bought a shirt and a pants for my son at Macy's basement. I take home to let my son tried it, then my son doesn’t like it. Because I had to go to work, I didn't have time to return them right away, so it took me 10 days to return them because they have a 30-day return period. The manager told me that the clothes We tried on couldn't be returned. He also said you can't return, if the tag was removed. Yes, I took one of the tag off, but I brought the full tags with the receipt, how did he not let me return it?saying that Macy's policy is this, and he ask me why did u not return them within 2 hours? What??? Did I hear you right? Is the return required within two hours? God, not 30 days to return it? It's only been 10 days, and he's still making all kinds of excuses because he's the manager? He's afraid I'm gonna return it and lose his performance bonus and the manager has a bad attitude and is very contemptuous, I will never shop here again, a very bad experience!!
