Probably the biggest library in Queens. I enjoy the diverse reading materials specifically the Chinese and Spanish books.
There are a wide number of organized events. On the third floor, there is a Workforce One office. On the second a wide array of films to borrow.
If you want to study here, it can get very packed with people.

SO CROWDED why do people come here if you arent going to actually do work or study?? esp the old ladies who literally take off their shoes and put their feet on the table???? disgusting.

Great public service place. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I went there many times for work and the place was quiet and organized. The place is more than a library, it’s a vibrant community center with lots of cultural events. The staff at the printing center are very helpful.

I have been to this place years ago and that this is a big library with 3 floors and a basement. There were people going in and out of the library. The bathrooms are located in the basement and 2nd, or 3rd floor. There are many languages spoken at this library.

I have been to several libraries across NYC. This Library's staff are the rudest. The front desk staff members are rude and unwilling to help. The staff members often talk loudly in their share conversation and about annoying manners about the visitors.

Absolutely the biggest disappointment in the Queens Library System. I don’t know if there’s any way to counter the problems, or might be a case of there are simply too many inconsiderate people; there would have to be 500 guards watching every centimeter of the place all day. It’s noisy all the time, tons of folks are on their phones, tons of folks are on their phones ON SPEAKER…as fast as they are shooed out more come in doing the same. Flushing branch is just a tsunami of inconsiderate people so I never go there anymore, even though I live down the street. I think you can’t blame the staff. There are what, 20 of them? Against tons of rude and selfish folks. Going to pick up or return that’s fine. But if you need to study, stay away.
