Went in for two things:1) chain lube because I ran out2)to get an adjustment on my chain because I was running it too tight.Guy proceeded to tell me that the lube wasn’t going to loosen up my tight chain. (Wasn’t purchasing the lubricant for that purpose. That’s what the adjustment would be for!)He then told me whoever installed my chain did it wrong. When I tried to explain to him that’s how this chain is supposed to be installed he walked away from me and said he wasn’t going to argue with me.They say to support small business but the people who work here are big A-Holes. I rather purchase chain lube from Amazon than deal with their close minded bike knowledge. The chain I’m running was innovative when it first came out 20 years ago. You would think a bike shop would keep up with industry changes but I guess not.

Amazing knowledgable local bike shop. I acquired a free bike and they filled the tires and took a quick look at it to make sure it was safe on the road. They were quick, kind, and I'd absolutely go to them again.

Came to this store for some tires and tubes. He showed me a knobby tire and a no tread tire that was not a good width for my wheel. I spent time looking around the store and saw a perfect tire on my own. My experience in any store is to find it yourself.

Roberts Bicycles is all about the money and not about the customer. I went in to get my gears adjusted and upon returning to pick up my bike they let me know they changed the cables which was not the service that I had left my bike for. I didn't receive any call from the shop letting me know that they would be making this decision either. They then told me that if the gears still aren't changing right, I should come back to their shop to purchase a new sprocket for my bike. Conveniently, my gears were somehow changing worse than before so rather than going back to Roberts, I found a new shop, Peak Mountain Bike Pro, and had the actual service I needed done. Found out that my cable housing was rusted and Roberts never changed it, only the cables which costs me more money. Knowing that the gears would still not change smoothly, they tried to get me to come back and buy a new sprocket rather than fixing the actual problem. So grateful for Peak Mountain Bike Pro Shop! I wasn't going to write this review but while I was away this past weekend, my daughter and her friends needed air for their tires and Roberts was the closest shop to them. Unknowingly, they walked in and Roberts charged them $2 per bike. No shop charges to fill up an inner tube which should show they're always looking to make a quick buck off of anyone.

Great experience from this shop that's been in the neighborhood for decades. Craig and Robert were super patient with me as I tried multiple bikes before deciding on my favorite. They also seem to have a larger selection of bikes than other bike shops in the area. And prices are comparable to online. However, you don't get to try on bikes when you buy online. Bikes are a highly personal item. Much like buying shoes. You need to go to a local shop and try them on. Please do no compare those $100 Toys R Us bikes to the ones in local shops. You get what you pay for.
