Closed the fitting rooms ONE HOUR before closing the store. Extremely inconvenient and completely wasted my time. I wouldn’t have come here if I would have known I wasn’t going to be able to try anything on. I can understand closing the fitting rooms 15-30 minutes before closing time, but an hour is absolutely ridiculous. You lost my business and I will not be returning.

Formally worked at this location. Glad to hear that Waldina Olivera got her Karma and got out of there. Wouldn't recommend for anybody trying to work at this location.

The store is in The Queens Center Mall located in East Elmhurst. My only criticism of JC Penney - there appears to be a shortage of staff on each of the floors. It was very hard to find an employee if you need help in finding something.

I am VERY disappointed at the customer service at this JcPenny in Queens Center Mall. I waited on the line today to return my online purchase for 30 MINUTES only to have the cashier tell me that online returns are made on the third floor (which I was not at) and when I told the lady that they should have a sign up telling people where to go to make online returns, she replies “we have been doing this for many years” and that’s it ! I did not get an apology at all. How are new customers at the mall supposed to know where to go for returning online purchases?? You should put up a sign so we know ahead of time before waiting so long on the line. DO BETTER JCPENNY!

The second floor had no AC. Either they're minimizing due to the current heatwave, or there was a mechanical issue. They did have large fans in sparse areas. I needed something from that floor, so it was quite uncomfortable.Other than that, there was plenty of staff around who were helpful and professional.There are lots of sales right now. And, I ended up finding what I needed at the clearance section. Worked out for me. The entrance security guards were very welcoming and nice upon entering and exiting.The cashier barely interacted and didn't respond when I said hello and wished her a good day. Customer service is everything. I hope she realizes this and her day gets better.

JC Penney has been for years & continues to be a terrific & well priced Queens shopping destination. Amazing variety of nice quality offerings for all. Clean, well managed, fun to wander & check out all the offerings. Love this store ❤️

Stood in the line to pay for a few items for 24 minutes with only 3 people in front of me,, with only 2 cashiers working. I only waiting because I wanted to use a gift card. And that's why I don't shop there anymore or use my JCP credit card.

It's 2022 and we are still racially profiling at Sephora? Do better. I came in 01/23/22 with my friend who happened to be wearing a hoodie. This seemed to set the whole Sephora staff off, especially those two employees by the fragrance display. My friend was looking around for colognes. He had chosen a scent and was hoping that the employees would come up and ask if we were ready. I walked up to the two employees instead, to get some help. They paused their conversation and the guy came to open the drawer to get the cologne out. He opened the drawer so cautiously and quickly as if we were going to steal anything. Then proceeds to put the chosen cologne BEHIND the registers. I'm sorry, since when did Sephora do that? I was not ready to checkout. Very distasteful on the employees end. This made the whole experience very uncomfortable as if we were going to take something out of the store without paying. Absolutely horrifying.

I was the at jewelry counter this woman right here has poor customer service she never acknowledged us.. I left the counter returned a half an hour later .. she still was with the customer the same customer that wasn't the problem the customer told her that she can wait on us while she decide on what she wants the employee that woman right there in the picture wave her hand and said out loud they can wait ??after being there she knew and saw us ?there and still act like?? poor customer service a BIG FAT ZERO???
