YWCA of Queens provides a holistic, multi-service approach to meet the needs of low-income individuals and immigrants in the Northeastern Queens community. In addition to our after school, ESOL and HSE classes, we provide case management and benefits assistance in: SNAP, SCRIE, Social Security, Affordable Housing, Reduced-Fare metro card, and more. We also offer Affordable Care Act navigator services, providing enrollment assistance, client advocacy and public education about Health Insurance, Medicaid, Medicare and WIC. We believe that the direct services the YWCAQ provides are essential to the success of members of our community because they provide clients with the tools and support they need to become self-reliant.
