Dr. Alyshermini is an amazing doctor. He has treated my daughter from when she was in the 6th grade. He openly took in my daughter because he was only seeing adult patients. His care for her has been thorough, patient and most importantly he treated her like family. I have known Dr. Alyshermini for over 25 years and over the years and he has continued to remain proactive with my daughters care. I have been dedicated to him for all these years and I can not see anyone else who can do the terrific and impactful care he has given my daughter. Thank you Dr. Alyshermini for being my daughter hero!!.

Doctor is old and unwell. At one point we became close from awhile back. so him and his wife started coming to my office. They make me pay copays which is fine then comes up to my office and doesn’t pay anything and files false claims through insurance. Don’t go here. He’s not the best doctor overall. Just bad gotten worse with age.

He is explains everything to me I go to him for my diabetes and thyroid nodules and the nurse is very polite and so is the front desk I am very very satisfied with him and his office

Dr Alyeshmerni has been my doctor since 2006. Whenever I go to his Forrest Hills office, Dr. Alyeshmerni and his staff (MS DEBBIE) are always professionals and very knowledgeable and helpful. On every visit, I've referred family members and friends to Dr Alyeshmerni !!!!

Terrible experience from reception all the way to the doctor. Mediocre medicine and terrible bedside manner. Reception on a personal call the whole time and does not greet patients. Doctor talks about patients in front of other patients, he does not look at prior medical records, does not pay attention to detail and is not tech savvy whatsoever. Please be aware before coming to this facility.

I met with Dr. Alyeshmerni three times last year, but my last appointment with him was a disturbing display of incompetence and arrogance. I came to Dr. Alyeshmerni because I was referred to an endocrinologist after some concerning bloodwork that suggested a potential problem with my reproductive health (I am a young adult woman). During our first two appointments, he would make some strange comments at times that seemed to trivialize my concerns as if I was solely there out of concern for my appearance when I had genuine health concerns. He would regularly get confused and tell me incorrect information about my health in spite of having my chart right in front of him. Then, when I was confused, he reacted condescendingly and rudely. In my last appointment, he asked what I was there for, and it all went further downhill. He said something incorrect, and when I asked him a clarifying question, he yelled at me for being confused and doubled down on the incorrect thing (which he could’ve checked my medical records to know himself). I explained that there was no reason for him to yell at me, as I was just asking a question. He also rambled about my weight in an antagonistic way and was giving “medical advice” not based in any truth. He talked about the fact that I am fat and need to stop drinking soda and eating so many carbohydrates, as well as saying that I needed to work out. His tone grew increasingly accusatory and he was close to yelling at me again. It is true that I have a high BMI, but we had never discussed my lifestyle at all in terms of my eating habits and my level of physical activity until now, so the “advice” for me to lose weight was super general and not based in my actual life. He kept talking about the fact that I am fat and insinuating that it is my fault that I am having issues with my health (and again, he did not even do the due diligence of reminding himself what exactly my health concerns were before speaking to me even though this was my third appointment with him in a matter of a couple of months). I found it incredibly concerning when he asked me to confirm that I gained x amount of weight in the past 12 months; I am unsure if he read my chart incorrectly or if he did not even look at it, but the truth was that I had lost weight in the previous year. He made assumptions and offered poorly-delivered medical advice that was rooted in neither the actual data in my chart nor information I had told him about my lifestyle. He could not be bothered to learn more about me and offer medical advice that would appropriately address the medical issue at hand based on an understanding of my lifestyle. I feared for my health at that moment because I realized how little care he had for me. I will absolutely not be returning to Dr. Alyeshmerni. I hope that this review can help others, especially other women, POC, and heavier people, protect themselves from his hostility and failure to treat them as people.

He is the best Dr. I see him for my hypothyroidism and my growing weight.
