We hired gary to do our taxes for the second time and it was horrendous. he made errors on our return resulting in a loss of $2,000.00!!! Not only that, but he didn't even understand how to claim house taxes on our return. I had to inform him that we should get our tax money back from our county which was $5,000. So if I hadn't informed him of his error we would've lost $5k in our return. He's completely incompetent. When I was sent a letter from NYS dept tax and finance he refused to help me respond to them telling me "write a letter " Well what on earth does that mean??? Im not an accountant and it wasn't my error- he made the errors on the state return and it's his responsibility to correct them as a professional. Well a professional he is NOT! I left a negative review of my experience on yelp as well as another person who privately contacted me, and since seeing the reviews he has harassed and bullied us like an immature child throwing a temper tantrum to take down the reviews! He's sends me an email EVERY DAY bullying and intimidating me and has sent me a bill of $176.00 for a ONE paragraph letter he wrote (with spelling and grammatical errors) to respond to the state letter after I already responded to them since he ignored our emails and requests for a month. He is refusing to fix his mistakes and then trying to steal money from us as well as bullying us daily. I've already notified the BBB and the IRS as well as the state Dept. and the police to address the cyber harassment. How can you justify sending a client a bill for fixing your mistake that resulted in your client losing a $2k refund??!! Even if I could overlook the harassment, bullying, rude, immature and unprofessional behavior of this crook of an accountant, he still lost us $2,000.00 and is billing us $176.00 for losing our $2,000.00 return. Once he gets your business he refuses to speak to you when you try to contact him. Hire him only if you want to lose money!

Gary is the BEST! Been going to Gary now for a couple years to handle my S-Corp returns and he has always been fantastic! First of all he has a great personality which is extremely important because it makes the whole process much less stressful, and makes it easier to ask questions, etc. He's also extremely experienced & knowledgeable and has given me tons of advice & strategies such as how to structure my business, tax saving opportunities, and much more. Would highly recommend him to anyone, great guy!

I worked with Gary early in his career. I saw his qualifications first hand and immediately decided to have Gary prepare my personal taxes. Ever since -- even though the present economy is a rollercoaster and the tax laws are constantly changing -- I sign my yearly returns with confidence. Gary's work can be identified as a "trinity of business" -- professionalism, proactive effort, productive results -- delivered with consistency.

We are using Gary's services for a couple of years now, he is detail-oriented, diligent, highly professional and ethical. We have 'two-state-tax/separated family' situation that he manages to make tax-wise clear, and I would not trust anybody else with it. Highly recommended!

When we first got married, my husband and I received a penalty on our tax return. Thankfully, we found Gary, he fixed our return and helped us file an amendment. He also gave us advice on what a young couple like us can do throughout the year, tax wise. He was so knowledgeable and great to work with, we hired him as our full time accountant. Through the years, as our financial situation has changed and our family has grown, Gary has been there every step of the way. I recently started a business and Gary was my first phone call. He's a wonderful resource, a reliable professional, and pretty much a staple in our family.
