It’s not crowded and easy access from overpass from forest hills 108street side. Only drawback is no rest room facilities close by. Need to walk 20mins to closest rest room

A little worn down playground. Could use new paint and color. It is a big playground by the water. The playground on the other side of the lake has a bathroom but even more run down. Can be muddy around on the paths that surround the playground.

Nice playground to bring kids age 5+. Has a water sprinkling system to stay cool during hot summer months. Plenty of seats to sit while kids play. Offers big swings, climbing monkey bars and grass area for picnics and BBQ. Close to Willow lake for a beautiful view. Can be crowded on the weekends. Only portable bathrooms during operating seasons.

Such a fun playground. But gets way too packed on the weekends and in the evening. With the C word on the rise again, just not the best place for us to go on warmer days now a days. But nice in the spring to fall, as long as its not too crowded.

This park seems to be on the top playground lists in Queens. I couldn't really agree. The playground itself is not kept up. Weeds all over the place and graffiti on slide areas. The dinosaurs would be cool but they aren't kept up either, the long neck in the middle seemed to have peeling paint. Maybe it was due to covid that this playground has been overlooked by the parks department but it's a shame. I gave 3 stars bc it did have several slides, climbing activities and a lot of swings compared to other parks. There isn't really a place to feed the birds or ducks as it was just a small opening in the grassy border to the lake and someone was fishing. They do have air conditioned port a potty's which is a plus. Parking lot is about a 10 minute walk away at the US open parking lot as per google maps. I wouldn't go again.
