These guys have been preparing my tax returns for the past 5 years now, and I couldn't be happier. They are conveniently located right on Queens Blvd, and are always available to answer questions all year round. The staff is friendly, and they always do whatever they can to minimize my taxes. Unlike other accountants, they are also financial and investment professionals. Other places I've been to just transcribe numbers without thinking outside the box, and offering various tax planning strategies. Not only do they handle my taxes, but they also handle my investments. I also love the fact that they are a family owned operation and even if Craig, my accountant / financial planner, isn't available that day, there is always someone around to help me if I call. I highly recommend them!

Excellent experience working with Craig at the Metro Tax Group! He has been doing our taxes for years. He is very knowledgeable, always very attentive to detail, and available/happy to answer any questions. We get our refunds very quickly. Highly recommend!

Don't bother calling them... I needed to speck to an accountant, the secretary treated me so bad I was sorry to even call them. Not helpful At All!! Hung up the phone before I was done talking... Look for a place that will value your time and business.

Forest Hills, New York is a magical geographic region that has borne witness to historical events and the transcendental figures who possess the capacity to effectively move narratives rather than simply be passive spectators of these justifiably chronicled events. These individuals had vision in addition to guts and glory. In 1974, Jimmy Connors destroyed elder athletic statesman Ken Rosewall at Forest Hills to create an unprecedented passionate language and expectation that previously did not dare permeate the genteel sport of tennis. In 1964 the Beatles played the same stadium, one year before the more often referenced Shea Stadium presentation. Thirteen years before, the Fab Four's fellow Briton and master film Director Alfred Hitchcock showed us how dynamic peace can flourish in the context of paradoxical action as a keen observer fixates his sinisterly unbending and intimidating attention on the innocent man on the run as the rest of the audience moves their necks from left to right as serve and volleys abound on the fragile yet sturdy grass whose life-span is dictated by the mysteries of Universal intelligence and natural laws inexorably intertwined with the human experience. This multifaceted realm of infinite possibilities allows us to experience phenomenal human beings whose example exemplifies how unwavering professionalism and decency are not mutually exclusive traits. Under the guise of conventional beauty, hidden treasures become evident with the seamless advent of time and necessity. One of these discreet yet invaluable establishments is Metro Tax Group. I came across what another Yelper described as a "well oiled machine" by way of Mr. Craig Bergen whose vision is as relevant as his obvious grasp of the intricate domestic and or international tax policies. Like a master chess player, Craig Bergen seems to anticipate your questions that are answered with uncanny patience and bona fide goodwill. I for one am sick and tired of condescending individuals who get their kicks from frightening the wits out of persons while they hypocritically appeal to the darker sides of human nature. It is especially disheartening when such financial ruffians prey on the vulnerabilities of the elderly. Similar to the historical figures cited in my sincere manifestation of gratitude and admiration, Craig and his team know how to assume the role of anything but passive spectators of complicated taxation codes by way of comprehensive support while graciously refraining from being aggressive. As Humphrey Bogart's Sam Spade aptly says in The Maltese Falcon, "it's the stuff that dreams are made of." Fortunately, there is a lovely office in Forest Hills that allows us to dream with open as well as closed eyes given the trust we can bestow upon a lovely gentleman whose name is Craig Bergen.
