This bank branch and/or the back office of TD Bank has really wasted a lot of my time and has been a huge disappointment. We made an appointment to submit a POA and when we arrived on time for our appointment we waited at least 2 hours. The person we spoke to was very nice and helpful and scanned and sent the POA to the correct people. I went back in another time about a month later (a 1.5 hr wait to speak to anyone) to check in the status and the same branch person said it looks like no one took a look at it. She submitted it again. About a month later I checked in again and still I was told no one looked at. Finally the branch person managed to get someone to look at it they said too much time had passed and we would have to submit another document and also said the document was not legal because the notary was a witness on the document. The document though is completely valid and legal and several banks including a healthcare company accepted it. The New York Lawyer's Bar Association website also clearly notes it is legal because a notary can be a witness on a POA. They continue to reject the document and want us to make a new document (costing several hundred dollars and wasting more time). The branch person says they can't send external links of the NY Bar association site and will no longer attempt to contact the back office for me and hasn't given me anyone else to help me. I certainly wish it wasn't like this and I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place is a disaster and I regret doing business with them. I can only assume part of the issue is lack of staff, but no one looking at the POA and then rejecting it is an issue beyond the specific branch. What a massive disappointment.

Pathetic service, i was there on 1-5-2024 and was here to get my card and I haven’t received it yet there was lady who assisted me … this is most worst reviewed td bank in America or should i say in the world they know least about anything whatsoever problem you have they always call and ask someone else they are soo worst wont recommend to go there.

This is a fraud bank. They cancel my father’s account with no notice. And decide not to doing business with him still with no reason to us. They ignore the contract with no honest.

Long wait after check-in. A lot of the staff are just strutting back and forth laughing and chatting while only one is working in the customer service even when told that you are in a hurry. Security is not helpful at all to relay your message. Will not come back to this horrible place.

Worst td bank branch i have ever been there employe are barely trained, they don’t know what they are doing. Such a long wait for to open a bank account the women who was attending me kept calling for help the whole time. Worst bank ever never coming here again in my entire life.

Oh boy. This branch has a huge problem. I just tried to make a deposit into my account, one of my two accounts! and was interrogated by the teller and manager. I didn't ask for a balance, I didn't ask for cash back, it was a straight deposit and nothing else. They asked for ID which I've never had to supply before for a deposit. I didn't provide and politely reminded the teller I was only making a deposit. He proceeded to ask for a PIN number, again I was only making a deposit. I asked for the manager and he also insisted. Now, I used to work at commerce bank, before it became TD Bank and I never had to ask a customer making a straight deposit for ID or verification. At the very least, I could match a signature on the back of the endorsed checks to make sure it was the same account. TD Bank has NO LEGENDARY service. They are not even pretending to have customer service. I called the customer service number and they told me it's up the branch! and that I should try another location! for a DEPOSIT! Dude?! C'mon. I'm closing my accounts as soon as I can. And I urge you to NOT do business with TD Bank.

This is one of the most challenging situations – with only a single manager overseeing the entire bank. Even though a significant number of customers were patiently waiting in line, the manager decided to take a break.

When you show up at 12:40 p.m. on a Saturday, when they advertise being open until 1:00 p.m., there are 14 people in line ahead of you to see a banker and only two bankers on duty. The security guard tells you you don't have the right to check in anymore to send a wire because they have too many people in line and they want to close soon. How is it the consumer's problem that the bank didn't staff itself adequately for the volume of business it wants to do and wants to close at 1:00 p.m. regardless of the people waiting? This kind of thing is a regular occurrence here and I'm standing here waiting to send a wire right now. They advertise themselves as a business bank but have nobody able to take care of business needs in a timely manner. Avoid!

I block my card and account for any reason, I was unlucky enough to accidentally be affected by a fraudulent scheme, and I came to the office to consult if everything was in order, I was convinced that everything was fine, I asked about a dubious operation, again I was convinced that there were no violations. And after 2 days, the account is closed. If you have the opportunity to open an account with another bank, it is better to do so. Otherwise, you may regret it later.

TD is a good bank, but the branch in Forest Hills is by far the slowest one I ever been to. 6 windows, only 1 person working them, if you are lucky 2. Only go if you got an entire afternoon to kill.
