I told him I will definitely recommend him to anybody looking for a puppy. He was vaccinated, microchipped and in great condition!”

They embrace everyone that walks through their doors with love and respect. Michelle treats every pup with so much love. Now let's get to the grooming. Sis can cut and style. There was absolutely no uneven hairs, the shape was so perfect. The wash was amazing. My pup was so soft and smelled like room full of roses. I live in Georgia and will make every trip possible to come to NY just for Michelle to groom my baby.”

“Had our first experience at Woofer Wash today and I have to say it was an absolute success. Called and made an appointment just 2 days ago. Walked in and was immediately greeted and directed to a wash bay where all the supplies were ready and waiting. The staff were helpful and informative. I read that parking can be an issue during the week, but it's Sunday so parking was easy peasy. On top of great customer service the prices are great too. Absolutely extatic that we found this place. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!”

“My dog has escaped from my backyard and this shelter was a big help in finding him. I initially called and described my dog but he wasn’t over there. About half an hour later the shelter called back and informed me that my dog was at an emergency veterinarian center nearby. The fact that they remembered how I described my dog and matched that description to a dog in an entirely different location than theirs is amazing. Even taking the extra step to call me back and inform me where my dog was tells me alot. The people working at this shelter genuinely care about animals and have a passion for what they do. I am beyond grateful for their help in my situation.”

“My 3 yr. old Aussie Doodle has been visiting the NY Puppy Club since she was 5 months old. This gem of a place is our go to for boarding/grooming. Harley is well taken care of while in their hands. She is a high energy dog & enjoys playing with all the other furry friends while supervised. I love it, because I can check the web cam when I am missing her & know she is having as much fun as I am. I highly recommend this establishment for your puppy/dog needs.”

“I first used Martins K9 formula back in 1997 with my Bullmastiff. She never had one health issue and lived to 14 years of age which is amazing for a large breed and since her breed average life expectancy is 8-10 years. Over the years I fell into the name brands are better and experimented with “name brand” dog foods. Paying over $80 for a 22 pound bag. My dogs got skin issues, immune system and health issues. Switched back to Martins K9 dog food, and within weeks their energy and health improved and for $70 for a 45 pound bag not only am I saving money but my dogs are thriving. Don’t get caught up in the hype of the name brands. Sometimes it’s the local places that have better quality and their knowledge can’t be beat.”

“I have been shopping at Oceanside store since Inwood store closed, I have yet to leave without feeling satisfied. All the team members are helpful and very friendly, greet you coming in as well as leaving, unlike other stores if you get there at 8:45PM, no one is screaming at you to hurry up, usually running for 1 or 2 items so always out by 9PM. Workers will stop what they are doing to look up prices for you and show similar items so you have a choice. They carry so many food offerings, everything you need for your pet regardless of what your companion is, organic healing and wound care and many green items that help environment, rewards program is a definite plus, one of the first stores to offer. Kudos Pet Supplies Plus, name states it all!!”

I really wanted to go to a rescue but we went to several places without luck ( mostly because of my son Allergies) we love Minnie ( was Alia) she is so healthy and smart and happy. Very grateful to find her at left paw. She loves looking out her giant window on her giant chair. I take 100 pictures a day ! “We have been going to Spock & Elvis for at least 15 years and they are the BEST groomer there is, and a terrific pet supplies store. Shannon is an EXCELLENT groomer who loves your dog while in her care. We have had 5 poodles over the years and by far she has been the most consistent and skilled groomer ever! She groomed our last standard poodle her entire life, and now grooms our 2 year old mini poodle. We love how she grooms our dogs. She adapts the cut to what you prefer and she always gets it right consistently. I like that my dog is in a playpen not a hard crate while waiting. The pet shop only carries good quality toys and foods. We have gotten the best toys and raincoats, collars, and doggie shampoo. Mostly all made in USA or Canada. I have had only good experiences here, and we have been using Spock & Elvis for the past 15+ years! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Thank you to Brian & Shannon for always taking such good care of our fur babies!”

“I have been buying from this store since it's inception... The friendly staff is knowledgeable about the merchandise and high end dog food. Miriam the groomer is wonderful, she treats my corgi with love and the cost is comparable . I needed a leash and harness for my Corgi who is difficult to fit. Sean ( the owner) immediately assisted me and presented a set that fit perfectly. So if you aren't happy with the prices I suggest that you try PetCo. Renting a store in BayTerrace is extremely expensive probably equivalent to Manhattan rates. I don't mind paying a little more for the customer service and quality merchandise. Thanks Sean!
