I have been a loyal customer of this bank for many years, but my recent experience with a new representative was quite disappointing. The individual was extremely rude talking down to me like I’m stupid and just very unhelpful, which left me feeling frustrated. After leaving the bank, I contacted the TD Bank hotline, and they were able to assist me without any issues and she should’ve recommended that instead of just being completely useless. As a result, I have decided to take my business to the TD Bank location on Franklin Avenue moving forward.

I visited this branch and experienced the most racist interaction I have ever had at the bank. Phyllis Marchetti racially profiled me, then refused to complete my transaction stating she didn’t feel “comfortable”, even asking me why I was using the bank in Garden City as opposed to Hempstead. She sent a code to my phone after I insisted on her using actual protocols to identify me. She sent me the code, thinking it was not going to go through and of course it did. Even then, she refused to complete my withdrawal..still citing her comfort ability. I am well aware that fraud exists and I am sure institutions as big as TD bank have protocols in place to verify their customers to prevent situations such as these. This was very sad and disappointing that because I’m black, I can’t make withdrawals in the next town over. Thanks Phyllis, for showing me racism is very much alive in this time.

This bank should just keep working in Canada only. Everytime I come to this location to use the ATM it’s out of service, either unable to dispense cash or accept cash. Completely useless bank and service. We saw a teller and informed her that none of the ATM machines are working so they are not accepting any cash and she just said “oh it must be full.” Okay? And it’s not only this location. It’s literally all of them. I can count on my fingers how many times the service was decent and I was able to complete a basic transaction such as withdrawing and depositing cash. Just go to chase or a community bank. This bank is a complete waste of corporate space.

Worst TD bank you could visit. Went on a Wednesday and it was super low staffed, had 3 people working with no sense of urgency. If you want to waste an 1 hr on a 5 minute task, please stop by.. I would review -1 if I could..

Probably the slowest customer service TD in the east coast. 20 minutes on line with 2 people in front of you. This Place needs to figure their stuff out before I take my account to Chase.

How does a bank not fix a broken drive up ATM for over a week?? Also why in the world would you not allow cash deposits in the ATM, what purpose does that serve? The whole point of the ATM is ease and efficiency, having to now go back to the bank a 3rd just to see a teller is waste of my time!!

This bank is the worst. The people who are there to help are slow as molasses and could not care less that you wait and wait and wait for help. We have been waiting to be helped for 40 min. This is far from the first time that this happened. This is a regular issue. 4 out of the six desks are empty. This is in no way customer service. I can't stand this bank.
