Franklin Farmers' Market is a small, friendly, and casual community gathering. It features a wonderful assortment of local vendors offering fresh vegetables, pea greens, and farm-fresh eggs. Shoppers can find homemade baked goods, breads, jams, maple cream, elderberry jelly, and Christmas goodies. There is also smoked trout, hand-made crafts, ornaments, toys, and books. The setting is lovely with tables and chairs on the lawn, a playground, and sometimes music. Vendors are friendly and happy to share information. It is a very enjoyable place with great conversation, where people share food and conversation. It is definitely one to check out.
There was a wonderful assortment of local hand-made crafts from wooden mugs/charcuterie boards, baked Christmas goodies, ornaments, toys, and books. The book vendor was giving out free books to kids, and is also an author who will sign her own books for you. Great community gathering.
