I went there a few weeks back because I needed gas in my vehicle, and for some reason my debit card wasn't working so I only had $2 in Queens to give to the clerk so I could at least make it home to get my other card. When I told the clerk $2 in gas, he gave me a look and seemed to mock me. Whether somebody just has bad luck with their card like myself, or somebody truly is poor, the worst feeling in the world is to get that sort of treatment in front of a line of customers. After this experience, I would rather spend the extra $0.10 a gallon across the street.

Well, I didn't need to get any air in my tires on this visit but it was raining almost as bad as the last time I stopped at this Country Fair in Fredonia. But it wasn't a bad mannered air pump that got under my skin on this last visit to this store. No, this time my issue was with the living, breathing part of the store--it's unprofessional employees.I had the misfortune to go into this store to buy Sousa they had on sale. Two 2-liters for $3.27 or something. But I could only find one of the two liters that I'd wanted. Surely, I wasn't going to purchase two of the same kind. I had been looking up and down the aisles with soda in then for about five minutes when I noticed there was an employee seated in the "scratch-off" area of the store except that she wouldn't give me the time of day when I asked her where the 2-liters of soda was at that was supposed to be on sale. I really tried figuring it out myself by using the different prices on the different brands that I did find. And because this employee had obviously been watching me as I walked up one aisle and down another, I figured that she had to know that my bothering her was my last resort. Most likely, she was probably on her break. But when I asked this employee about the location of the rest of the sale soda, she simply shrugged her shoulders and went back to ignoring me. Ordinarily, I would've just walked out of a store over such treatment but this soda was for someone else and I felt obligated to be adult-like and find a more professional employee to ask about this conundrum. So i took the items that I was able to find (which I would've felt more satisfaction had I smashed them on the floor and THEN left) to the cashier that was merely standing behind the register and then asked the same question about the whereabouts of the sale soda. Just like I had already asked her coworker and quickly regretted. While she was able to help me the answer I needed, she made sure she didn't give it to me without making sure that I felt dumb as a stone for not realizing that it is always common practice for a store to put a sale price onto two or more of a designated product and then display these two products at different ends of the store, keeping the customers walking around the store looking for the other product and thereby helping themselves to all sorts of other items to purchase on impulse. Though the Casio cashier did direct me in the proper direction to locate the second 2-liter, she managed to do it in a manner that let me know I was bothering her; that she had far more important things to attend to--like standing at a register doing absolutely nothing because at that time, I was the only one in the damn store. In the event that I have the misfortune to encounter two or more employees of a store in a single visit, I will run the sequence of events through my mind over and over to make sure that I hadn't done something to provolk such responses from the two employees and that was true of this time too. And after spending far too much time replaying the behavior of myself as well as the two employees, I can honestly say, I wasn't the one that caused this latest visit to this Country Fair to go sour. And therefore, it will probably be a long time before I return to this particular branch of my local Country Fair/Citgo store. Since I must say that if I had been treated like I was when for the most part, I am and was pretty civilized in situations of this sort, I am probably not the first nor the only customer to be treated like this and I hope that those customers rethink their trips to this location as well. How else will there be any repercussions in dealing with the unprofessional behavior of two employees working in the same store?

Not a bad gas station. Can be a pain to get there or leave depending on what direction you are. Coming from. Sometimes you have to go round and round and round the roundabout
