We recently had a large tree come down in a wind storm, snapped our utility pole and took out our electric and Internet services. DFT had the fiber line replaced and connected before the electric company even installed the new utility pole or restored power to the house. They did this by tying a temporary support to a nearby tree in order to make the connection to the house and then subsequently moved it over to the pole with ease. They did all of this before I even bothered to call and report my outage to them. DFT's crew was fantastic! Thank You!DFT's fiber internet service has been exceptionally reliable and a great service for us.

We have had DFT for roughly 4 years now. We live in the outskirts of forestville. We have called MANY times throughout the years due to the wifi constantly being out. We do not count the days when the weather is bad or if it’s raining ect, Due to being on a satellite. That we understand. However, now in June 2023 we have had enough. We have been without wifi for a week. A tech came out adjusted the satellite, tested my router and speed. Told us it was out of his hands. We have called now 5 times within a week to get it fixed. Due to a holiday. They stated they can’t fix it till Tuesday. Leaving us without wifi ALL WEEKEND.This is ridiculous. I have never heard of someone having so many issues with wifi before!The WORST wifi company I have ever delt with!

I have lost internet service so many times in the last 7 weeks. One day it was 5 times! During one call the guy told me it was the rain causing it?? Another call I said I may have to look elsewhere and he said yeah you might have to—great customer service—not. I had great service up until about 7 weeks ago.

We have been happy customers for 4 plus years. After the recent heavy wind/rain storm we were out of internet. The highly competent, experienced and devoted technicians worked tirelessly to get us back on. Thank you.

Just recently acquired the service. It was GREAT for One full week. Plan was $94 a month. Fiber optic line issues prevented connectivity for three weeks- and I get a bill for $188….. what???

Ever since they went to fiber they shut off your service if you are less than 1 month late. Even if the bill wasn’t for the full monthly amount due to over payment the previous month. Then they want to charge a service fee for turning it back on. What a racket!! They’ll gladly charge the credit card on file over the phone but refuse to sign you up for autopay over the phone. That requires a paper form with your CC info to be mailed or dropped off. After payment, they take forever to turn the service back on. I work from home and will miss work and business meetings because of this. Maybe I should bill them for my lost time which is well over the $40 that was owed.Service speed does not meet the ratings but they charge the full price. They will offer to upsell you to a faster service but why pay for more when you are already getting 20-30 MBps less than you pay for.I hate this company but unfortunately there are no other options where I am. If you do, take the other option and save yourself aggravation.

After over 5 years of unreliable internet service and numerous monthly rate increases I decided to give DFT Lightspeed a try. I have only been using the service a few days but it is the fastest and most reliable internet I have ever used.The installation was a pretty simple process and the installer (Kevin) showed up on time during my appointment window. Before drilling any holes Kevin actually took some time to make sure my wifi would reach every room in the house, this was definitely a need as my former wifi had several dead zones in the home. I liked the fact that he took time to make sure I would be happy after he left instead of just thinking about how easy installation would be.I decided to go with the managed wifi service as fiber internet is new to me. I asked for a few settings to be adjusted and everything was changed to my requests before the installer left with just a quick phone call. My wireless speeds are the fastest I have ever had in my home and I have been able to flawlessly switch to a streaming TV service.I would highly recommend shopping local. My experience with DFT has been 100% positive.
