I am highly concerned about our USPS system. My personal and business mail is being delivered to my neighbors or not being delivered at all. Outgoing mail is not reaching it's desired destination for extensive periods of time. I sent a packet from Fredonia, NY to Buffalo, NY and 6 business later it still hasn't been received the vendor. I sent a second packet to the IRS certified mail and it took nearly 3 weeks to reach them 4 states away. I never got the confirmation card of receipt. It behooves me that stamps and other services continue to rise, yet, the USPS system had a 56 Billion surplus last year alone. Do we need to privatize our mail delivery system?

Actually the most useless branch of the post office I have ever seen. I've never had an issue with getting my mail until I moved into their jurisdiction. I'll definitely be paying for other carriers weith much better service. No wonder the post office is always crying bankruptcy.

Went in for a passport. They told me an enhanced learners permit was unacceptable as a form of ID. I just went to another post office in Jamestown and explained my situation. They were absolutely shocked I was told to downgrade my ID when it was valid all this time.

Terrible delivery times. The good money I pay for Amazon Prime doesn't matter to these idiots. My guaranteed 2 day shipping isn't honored by them. It's a 50/50 shot to go down there in person and pick it up because half the time I get the "oh it isn't sorted yet" and they always seem pissed when you ask. Maybe if they delivered my package on time I wouldn't have to to down there and pick it up. Amazon says my package is at the post office, yet their website says it's still all the way in Pittsburgh. To put the icing on the cake they've literally left a "sorry we missed you" note on my door without even bothering to ring my door bell or knock. Leaving me to have to jump in my vehicle and chase them down to get my package. My buddies driver on his street literally drives by half of the time because he doesn't feel like stopping. Then at the end of the week he gets a huge delivery of mail. From now on if given the option I'm selecting another carrier even if it costs more. I'm done with these guys.

I've dropped off mail/small packages and purchased stamps here before with no problems at all. I also receive mail through fredonia usps and they are always great about delivering packages, they have even turned around and came back a few minutes later, when they realized they forgot to deliver a package. Recently, my fiancé went to the DUNKIRK location to get our wedding invitations weighed for stamps and he asked if they could hand cancel 90 invitations (as most wedding invitations are done, so that the machine doesn't ruin them.) The woman looked at him like he was crazy and said "there's no way we're doing that" then proceeded to jam it through a test mock machine to see if it would fit. I'm glad I had asked the Fredonia location about hand cancelling previously, and they said they do it, and it's free of charge. When we brought them to the fredonia location to be mailed, the customer service was great!!! The woman smiled and acted like it was an everyday thing. No nasty looks or rude remarks. Very polite and happy to take them for us. With that being said, I definitely recommend the Fredonia location, especially if you have something important to mail.

The post office itself is great. Friendly service. Quick. My local delivery person has much to be improved upon. Delivers when he feels like it.

This place is awful. My carrier, mark or pat or something constantly throws my packages. And one time I waved at him and he flipped me off. Caught him self servicing in the truck one time if you catch my drift totally unprofessional. I miss Zane he always came on time.
